I did not have showtime and missed all the shows. I finally rented the first season and was upset to find out that they did not release the rest of them. Please put them on DVD!!!
Fantastic show!! I was away at college and couldn't watch a glimpse of season 2 and beyond. I NEED Paramount to RELEASE the DVD's A.S.A.P!!! What's the point of buying 1 season and not being able to buy the rest??
It's time to do the right thing Paramount and Showtime. All the other series like "Queer as Folk" and even the "L Word" have already been released after each season is completed. Why we are still waiting for Soul Food to be placed on DVD is CRAZY. It looks like a discriminatory process. I will adamantly continue to pursue this until they are all released.
I was also wondering how come the other seasons weren't released. Showtime & HBO has release all of their other series in it's entirety so why not this. WHile we are on the subject FOX needs to put "Martin" on DVD
I absolutely love the show and I hope and pray that seasons 2 - 5 are released on DVD. It is ridiculous that the fans have to go to such measures to have DVDs produced of such a ground-breaking show.
The series was awesome. I would drop whatever I was doing to catch this show. Too bad that the dvd never came out after season 1 and that was priced very expensive compared to other shows that do not target a black audience. I feel it is unfair to those that watched the show and we need this matter resolved.
The rest of the DVD Sets has got to be released. If the TV Series is great, then what is the delay? Time is wasted. Many fans are waiting for the 2nd DVD Set.
I am frustrated because I would love to buy the remaing episodes of soul food. The original seris was out in June 2003, how long will we have to wait for Season 2???
Punky Brewester is out as well as Night Court and Murphy Brown but not the rest of the seasons of Soul Food. Sells may have been low, but I bet sells aren't going throught hte roof for the A-Team either, yet I bet all those seasons will be out.
Resurrection Blvd, six Feet Under, and Curb Your Enthusiasm have all long been released on DVD...We need Soul Food to have equal representation and availablility.
Soul Food became such an important part of the African-American culture. Fans watched faithfully every week. We were a part of the Joseph Family. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
I loved the Soul Food series and have every episode on VHS tape and I have Season 1 on DVD. Please release the remaining seasons and lets see Soul Food back on the air with all new episodes.
I enjoyed Soul Food as with anything that made youlaugh and Cry or Rejoice you want the opportunity to enjoy it whenever you wanted to. For people who identify with Soul Food we love it and would love to own it. For us it is just as important as Sex in the City to others, please make the DVD' available.
