I was very young when the war in Lebanon took its toe and destroyed the hope that this country had of being the flower of the orient. And just when we were about to embark on this dream of regaining of what was once called the land of freedom, without any notice, I find that my country has turned once again into a battle field where the price is the lives of innocent children, women, and men. I struggle to understand as I watch the Red cross remove the burnt body of a once beautiful child amongst this abyss... Remind me again, is there a reasoning for such stupid inhumanity....May God be with us!
As far as am concerned, the last time i walked on the lebanon soil, (august 2005) this country was after 25 years of war a reconstructed country. Although this country bore a terrible war, we could feel the peacefulness through each citizens...
However, we are in 2006, and its unbelievable to be terrified by the war one more time...
If you want to fight just buy a playstation...BUT PLEASE STOP DESTROYING THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY !!!!!!!!!!

I owe my life and happiness to Lebanon and the Lebanese. I consider Lebanon my country and cannot just sit by the sideline and watch it being hurt. This violence must stop and we must provide all the support we can give. God help us.
there should be peace in these countrys by now , how long and how many lives does it take to stop this stupidity. this has been going on too long , too many years, it now must be a perminant sieze fire and sort out this outrage.the heads of state need to stop this now /
I write from Beirut, from a city who refuse to die, I don't know what to say while seeing this real image Israel is showing and the hate they have for this country and not only to Hezbullah.
Let me use my friend's words and remind you of these facts ...
- Hezbollah is a widely shiite party whose popularity originates from its "jihadist" nature and not really due to it political stand out today.
- The timing of the strikes of the so called "IDF" was the most "foolish" act, while the whole coutry was against Hezbollah and asking this party to drop down his weapons and deliver it to the Government, It preceded the conclusion of the Lebanese Dialogue process that strated to put Hizbollah in a cornered situation because some lebanese parties were aiming to finish Hizbollah politically and thanks to the Israeli strikes , it created a getaway for Nasrallah.
- the harsh strikes of the Israeli forces that hit -as usual- the civilians simply rallyed many Lebanese behind Nasrallah and made him a hero outside Lebanon at the eyes of the Arabs and in the same time weakened the position of all the "moderate" leaders.
In spite of all the attacks of the airplanes, still Hizbollah is succeeding to continue his resistance against Israel. IDF assumed that the structure and organizing capabilites of Hizbollah would fall apart. This did not happen., and will not happen because hezbullah has no location neither one address.
- Economy can and will be restored and all tourists and Lebanese have left with bitter feelings , not against Hizbollah, but definitely against Israel. So even for the moderate arabs , you are just showing them what hizbollah has tried to convince them ages ago.
Israel fell in the trap of Hezbullah and now Israel did and you're doing the dirty work for iran and Syria, and managed to give more and more reasons for Hezbullah to stand against all the Leba
