According to news reports, the government of West Bengal is planning to sell rabbit, quail, duck and turkey meat in milk booths across the city of Kolkata because of the avian-influenza scare and the misconception that exotic meat is healthier and has less cholesterol. Already, private farms have started to rear quail and rabbits for meat.
