We, the undersigned 'Netizens of the world, implore the members of all local, state and federal governing bodies to resist efforts to implement breed-specific dog laws, especially those targeted at banning or restricting ownership of pet pit bulls.

I totally support this petition. We just rescued an abused pit/boxer mix from the shelter one month ago. She has some fear agression towards men but is getting so much better everyday. She shows no agression towards my bf and she is the best, and most calm and patient dog with my two kids. She loves us so much and we love her. She is so loyal and listens very well. They only need love, just like any other dog. It\'s not the dog... It\'s the owners!!

I support this petition, all the way! I have never had a pit bull, but I DO know that pit bulls are not evil, like people say they are. It\'s the owners fault. Not all owners, just the owners that train their dog that way. And that\'s animal cruelty.. =(

I support this petition. Every day of my life is enriched by my beautiful, rescued pit bull. The breed is not the problem and before people judge, they should do some research on this loyal and loving breed of dog.

I support this petition. BAN BAD OWNERS RATHER THAN TAKE THE LIVES OF THESE INNOCENT ANIMALS WHO WANT NOTHING BUT TO LOVE AND BE LOVED. Anybody that has ever owned...or even met a well cared for Pit will know that there is no need for this ban. How about banning bad owners instead?I don't have a pitbull as they're already illegal in Britain, but i have a staffy, i know that she doesn't have a bad bone in her body.
