We hear it everyday. The "n" word against African-Americans, dego against Italians, beaner against Hispanics. We talk to our administrators and maybe the people that are saying it get a phone call home, but it's obviously not enough to make them stop doing it. There's a guy in my school, and everytime he sees me coming he says something like "Oh look here comes the dego girl." We've all been called something that insults our race, religon, or hertitage. We've all been discriminated against sometime or another. If the people we talk to about it, our principals, teachers, etc. won't do anything about it, who's to say WE can't? Why should we let them keep on "taking care of it" when it's having no effect? It's time we, the people who are being harrassed and discriminatd against take this into our own hands. If they can't stop it, WE will. By signing this petition, you are making your stance against racsim, discrimination and harrassment be heard!

I hate those words. I feel sick everytime I hear them. Recently there has been an increase of this use of the n word in my area and it makes me sick! I say something to people when I hear them say it but they seem to think its cool!?! it discusts me! There needs to be harsherpunishment for the use of these words. I don't think people are getting it with whatever punishment (if any) they are getting now

ya, I agree...but I've never even heard of "dego"...I hate the n word so much every time I hear it, I cringeand am filled w/ anger, seriousely.

yes, we have alot of discrimination in the schools these days, and it does hurt alot. i get harrased alot in school, being called little white girl and gothic bitch, and its not nice. i would like to see harsher punishment for those assholes.
