In Canada this prime minister has reallowed the annual seal hunting. This is an annual event where fisherman from Canada go up and club seals to death. In late March many fisherman from Canada will go up to the icy Arctic. Then since many seals are on the ice having there babies, they will start clubbing them. Many of these seals less then two weeks old. When clubbed, this will eithier kill or at least knock the baby seal out. Then since all the fisherman want is the fur coat, they will skin them. DEAD or ALIVE! Then they throw the bones and organs back on the ice. Then they will send the fur to a fashion market so that they can sell the beautiful clothing that the fur will make. Almost 1 million seals have been killed over the past three years. Something has to be done. If you will sign this petition you will be helping end this cruel and inhumane thing. Thanks

I think Sophie is righit and 6 and 7 suck!!! Imagine if you were born into a beatiful mysterious white world and before you can explore it youfeel a horrible pain hits you and before you can investigate another srike hits you and your eyes close forever...Do you think the government will respond to this???

Seals are SOO cute. How could anyone kill them? Especially a pup. 6 and 7 absolutly fuck and seals matter just as much as people. They are my favorite animals. I 100% support this petition.

T definatly do not support this petition. It based totally on lies and misrepresentation. The Seal hunt is a legal activity that has been deemed humane by the World Wild Life Fund and international Veterinarians. The seals are used for more than just their fur as they are a source of food for many people living in Newfoundland and Labrador. The seal herd is overpopulated and that alone will lead to diseases in the herd and will make the seals suffer a much worse fate then being killed by the seal hunters. Prime Minister Harper hasn't as you put it reallowed the seal hunt because it was never no allowed since he has come into power. If you really want to have an honest debate with regards to the seal hunt you should first start off by stating facts and not just rhetoric.
