Duluth deserves a Super Target and the citizens of the city greatly would like one. Duluthians would like the convenience of being able to grocery shop and shop for general merchandise all at once without having to make multiple trips to other retailers. Target already has tried to remodel and expand their current store in Duluth Heights to become a Super Target, but their plans were denied. We now ask that the Target Corporation looks elsewhere in the city to build a new Super Target store, or once again tries to build a two story Super Target on their current Target site. Sites such as on Garfield Avenue, further up Maple Grove Road (next to Sam's Club) or on the corner of Haines Road and Arrowhead Road all would be suitable! Duluth's Target already does extremely well, a Super Target in addition to our current Target store or in replacement of our current Target store would only benefit the Target Corporation more.
