This show is a disgrace to the responsible motorcycle communite in which fights for cheaper insurance rates and more support from its local authorities.
If you continue this show then you should have an equal percent of your Nascar programming directed only to wrecks and fights in the pits as well continueing to depict all Nascar fans as ignorant rednecks. Otherwise help end the stereotypes of sport bike riders.
because the show depicts the lowest common denominator of our sport. Greg's Garage tried to build a positive image for biking over 3 years, and increase rider safety awareness, and with this idiotic new show you've destroyed that in one fell swoop. You should be ashamed.
You do the motorcycle community a dis-service with your one-sided view of "Superbikes". Outlaws are a vast minority of the sport bike community. Where's the footage of folks that actually obey the law and do track days and such? Your show was like watching a poorly done Biker Boyz video.
because we as sportbike riders already have a bad rep because of idiots like the ones depicted in your show. You could've showed more about the responsible riders and their way of life...maybe track days, gear selection, twisties....this show as just plain stupid and probably will give us more negative attention.
If you want to do something cutting edge get the boys from jackass to ride a couple laps on the mountain course IOMTT...invite Rossi to join, he might ride it under such circumstances. Otherwise how about a tour of the Barber Museum, hightlights of MV Agusta days at MidOhio, tour a tire factory, a favorite road/ride portion, gear reviews.
the sport has changed greatly over time and in reality i see alot of chopper and harly rider that do so much worse, such as drinking and riding and riding with no shits on. squids!!! hell sturgis got more ffffed up stuff than id ever seen with sportbikes. so lets get our facts strait shall we?
this show just gives ammo to the hordes that see no use for motorcycles other than Harleys. Thanks in part to your show we may soon be watching "Super Mopeds".
This show presents the worst side of sport bikes and make my sport look bad, Please give us some decent programing that shows sport bikes in a positive light
What a disappointment! Crappy old bikes with skulls and helments for headlights? Tattooed thugs? Overblown dialogue about "street riding"? Fighting? There is sooooo much material that is positive about sportbikes....why oh WHY did you have to start off with this nonsense? What a shame....
I ride a sportbike responsibly and I go to the track when I want to use it to its full potential... These type of shows are a stain on the sport of motorcycling and can only promote public distaste and FEAR of motorcycle riders! It is already hard enough to safely ride outh there without shows like this further endangering us...

AMA Member # 749730. I can't believe that Speed TV would associate this show with Superbikes? The only thing Super about it is that it show how Super..Irresponsible SPEED TV is for portraying the motorcycle community in this light and the Riders themselves for riding the way they do on public streets. If they want to ride that way, do it on a closed, non-public are. I guess some people don't really care how they effect other.
stop looking for the lowest common denominator for ratings,no problems with stunting,but leave the bad boy squids off the street,we have a bad enough public image already,bring us another usefull show,not a live soap opera geared at 18 year olds.
I to am very disapointed in Speed TV's recent choice in programing. I guess the site moderator for the Speed TV discussion forums couldn't take the harsh reality of my opinionated post. They deleted my post today. Man talk about internet censorship. Here's what those pencil pushing geeks deleted. Needless to say, the next motorsports event that I attend, those Speed TV people will hear my opinion about there recent choice in crappy programing. And there reckless promotion of idiots riding like there trying to make a Mad Max film. Speed TV you guys really suck.
"SUPERBIKES Right, More like SUPERSQUIDS, I watched that show last night. The bikes were neat, but the irresponsible riding in the street that they showed IMO gives motorcyclists a bad name. Wheelies, Stoppies,Burnouts,lane spliting which is legal in California I guess....to me just more stupid stuff people see on TV....and say man I'm going to try that and then they end up getting hurt or killed, or hurting and killing others, because watched some TV show and decided to ride with there head up there rear. The speed channel will here from me on this crappy show. Two Wheel Tuesday with Greg White was better, at least that show talked about AMA rights and racing etc. Superbikes, not even a mention about that kind of stuff....Looked like of bunch irresponsible idiots to me. If people want to ride like that, do it on a closed course away from traffic. By riding like that on the street they are putting people at risk that don't need to be at risk with there stupid actions.Two thumbs down for Superbikes".

Supersquids portrays ALL motorcyclists in a bad light, especially sportbike riders. Please replace this trash with something positive about motorcycles or anything that's not negative. And for the love of God not another NASCRAP show. This is not the United States of NASCAR!

We don't need more things supporting stunting. It's a bad enough influence on kids and a bad impression on the general public. There doesn't need to be a TV show about it.
I fully support this petition and think SUPERBIKES should be dropped and replaced with something more along the lines of the ORIGINAL Two Wheel Tuesday. Anything is better than this Superbikes garbage.
