I feel this kind of liberal shock style of T.V. does a major injustice to the sport of motorcycling. Are the producers of such horrible programing really intouch with what the motorcyle industry has to offer or know what its all about. Regards a pissed off Two wheel tuesday viewer.
"Super Bikes" does not represent the sportbike community. It glorifies illegal street stunting, fight gangs, drinking and riding, etc., -- everything we oppose. Take it off the air now.
The vast majority of motorcyclists ride responsibly. This show destroys that. Other SpeedTV shows like Two Wheel Tuesday, Corbins Ride On and American Thunder show motorcyclists in a far better. Superbikes should be dropped.
This type of show gives the sportbike community a bigger black eye than it already has. It is simply BEGGING for negative attention from the already anti-sportbike community (Law Enforcement particularly)
Something in the vein of Long Way Round with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman would be far more interesting and acceptable as an example of responsible fun motorcycling. So many are so disappointed with this choice.
The majority of the content for this show is entirely wrong and portrays sportbike riders negatively. Most riders frown upon such riding. There is a time and place for this on a closed course, not public streets!
I support this petition because it should never be appropriate to broadcast illegal acts such as violating traffic laws AND THEN sensationalizing them as a means to gain viewership.
I enjoyed the show but i have to agree with this petition. There is a time and place for stunt riding,racing and other types of riding in controlled environments.The street is not that place.
You managed to focus on the negative aspects of sport bike riding: The Assholes that make us all a bad name. The non-riding public opinion is already low as it is right now, we don't need crap like this STUPID show. It will only get worse. I live in Québec, Canada and here the equivalent of the D.O.T.(SAAQ)is in the process of Multiplying sport bike registration rates by 5 TIMES and "regular" bikes by 3 (witch are all ALREADY twice as high as car rates). Don't give them more ammo than they already got, PLEASE. CANCEL that show or get the story straight.
This is an embarassment to the motorcycle community. Assuming that all sport bike rides have a neurotic "NEED FOR SPEED ON TWO WHEELS" is ridiculous. Most of us enjoy the sport and keep it responsible. We already have enough going against us and we don't need any more bad publicity from your ignorant show.
I offended and ashamed to be called a motorcyclist after your show.
And to have a stunter who've had his run in with the law as the host definitely does not set a good example. Not to mentioned the lack of protective gear he's wearing makes a dramatic impact on new riders that proper protective gear is not necessary which is not the case.

Why not a show like pinks? That's safe, legal, cool. This crap is bad for motorcycle business. Everything I saw was completely illegal. Oh, and the ICON brand was maybe a little too obvious.
