This show gives the public a negative view of the majority of good motorcyclist. We already have enough issues with stereotyping the common motorcyclist. We are not all squids and stunt riders. Greg White covered all the road racing series and other motorcycle related topics and interviews with riders. Speed should give Greg back his hour show. I drag race, but not on the street with the public. That Oakland gang rides for the wrong reasons and gives the ignorant public a negative view of motorcyclist and causes the car driving public to be even more aggressive and dangerous, discourteous to the normal rider.
There are plenty of officially sanctioned motorcycle race events to be covered. I personally find the suggstion that all sportbike riders are street-racing thugs who careen past you on the highway at 160 extremely offensive.
Showing the stunt community is not the problem, but showing it on the street in violation of the law is. There are venues where this is performed legally, and these should be whats shown to the general public in a weekly show. save the underground lawbreaking for a "special report" type show. Showing any law breaking in a nationally aired show is just demeaning to the industry, and groups a responsible riders with these hooligans. I have been a long time fan of SPEED since the SPEEDVISION days, and I'm ashamed at this new show. I'm sure you know of the term "squid"? well read your own message board to know how the community feels...
I was so appauled that I was yelling at the TV. This show is only going to teach kids that it is ok to do these stunts on the streets! Delete this SHOW!!!!!!
I do not agree with Superbikes and how your show is portraying Sportbike riders across the world. You make us appear to be unlawful, gang related, dangerous and overall just disrespectful.
SpeedTV should cancel or change the show completely.
