Signatures #700 through #800 for the Change the format of Superbikes, or drop it all to... petition
Bruce Allison said 07/01/06, 9:21 pm (verified)
because this show highlights dangerous and illegal motorcycling activity as the biking community norm. That certainly isn't accurate and impunes the entire population of superbike owners.

This show portrays the sportbike riding community in a bad way. It's bad enough to deal with the public opinion of sportbikes as it is, then SPEED makes a show about the BOTTOM barrel of the sportbike world. If you MUST air that kind of content, show it in a safe and positive way, such as LEGAL competition, track days, etc. I am TRULY dispointed.

The television show, while trying to bring to the surface what many people know to be a harmless activity, actually helps perpetuate a negative image of motorcyclists as irresponsible and unsafe motorists. While this may be true for a select few individuals, (ie, the inexperienced thrill-seekers) it does not hold for the majority of sportbike riders. Please focus more on the responsible aspects of riding versus the reckless apsects.

This ignorant attemp to show 'super bikes' supposedly in action... actually is a bunch of squids, and unruly want to be riders. Isn't it time to put the light on the people that ride responceably, sport tour= etc etc...

Steve Zielenski said 07/01/06, 7:13 pm (verified)
This is a moronic attempt of making the underground biker scene cool - it's offensive to stunters, regular bikers, and cagers... totally staged and idiotic... plus it's just a big ad for ICON clothing. A show based on superbikes (great rides, track days, gear, advanced rising skills) would be great - but this is an abomination
