Dear Sir/Madam,
In light of the ongoing crisis in Ethiopia, it would only be cruel and inhumane to deport these assylum seekers. The streets of Ethiopia are too dangerous for the population at home ,let alone the public in the western world known for opposing the brutal regime. You said peolpe are free to speak their minds, and many did, and now you want them to face the music back home for using the rights available in your country. You have the moral responsibility to protect these people from their dictatorial regimes, and the problem they could have being connected with the free speech right in your country make you even more responsible. When you say we are governed democratically, it should not be only for you, but for those around and in your country.
To send people to a country where people are gunned down on the day light nis insane. This is not deportation this is a crime against humanity. Under any cirumstances people should be send to a country under immense political unrest. Do not send Ethiopians back to Ethiopia. They are asking you to give them protection hence as a country which stands for justice...you should not act blindely.
No Ethiopian wants to live as a refugee unless they get threatend.

It is a shame to here a country which is accomodating the head quarter of the UNHCR is abusing the basic rights of fellow humans. Stop the abuse and give them their basic rights.
May Allah help them all.
as much respecet i had for the Swess, the action they are taking towords to the Ethiopian asylam seekers, this will a begining of the true nature of the Swiss goovernment and the people of Swiss , no respect of human nature , do not give a bad name to the Swiss , do the wright thing , "protect the asylum seekers"
The Swiss government should know why the Meles regime wants to accept asylum seekers now of all times.Revange!! as simple as that. It awaits them a grave human right violation in Ethiopia. Please Consider your decesion !!
I am really sorry to read such an article being taken against the people of Ethiopia. I Hope the Swiss Government relizes those people flee their country in fear of prosecution and search of a better life.
Respect due process of law. We know the Swiss authorities are unfriendly to sub-altern groups that need protection rather than explusion. Also please facilitate investigation of African wealth stashed in Swiss Banks.
The Swiss Government must abide by International law and agreements it signed in its own land. Historicaly, the Declaration of Universal Human Rights took place in Geneva and its accord was signed in there. It is pathethic to see this accord being violated by its own initiator. I, therefore request the immediate halt of deporting Ethiopian Assylum seekers whose lives are extreemly endangered.
i will say only one remarkabel point to the swiss gov.is that really you wont do it for whom seck ,cose you have no budjt to feed them or it is simple as who care for the dade fish ,we care for it listen you can not grow alon the mony you feed them has been taken from our land ,dont forget the 11 blion dollar and more ......
please never deport tis time you know the governer do the same thing happend the last three weeks .help them for a while any time its clear we go home but now its worset to od such an human things your excellency we beg you in the name of GOD.we know you are christians and those made no mistake .
Can we say that the world is becoming unsafe for us Ethiopians. The life of an Ethiopian worth the same as that of any European. Let them live there despite it is not as comfortable as 'homeland'.
Dear concerned:
I am sure you are pretty clear of why the Ethiopian government would like to recieve those people at this the very unstable period. Many ethiopians abroad have been expressing their anger against the meles regime due to the mass irregularities expreinced on the May 15, general election.
Once these people get back to ethiopia, they will be inhumanly jailed tortured and shot for dead. There is no question about that. The world is watching you and you are gonna be responsible for it. It is not still late to reconsider your position. You can make the deportion after the removal of the meles regime so that thier lives will be atleast save.
It is inhuman to deport Ethiopians at the time when the country is in deep political and social unrest. I request the Swiss gov't to stop deportating Ethiopian nationals further indangering the lives of thousands of Ethiopians.
Swiss Government, the lives of the Ethiopian asylum seekers there are at your hands; Please do not handover them to the hungry man MELES ZENAWI; He will automatically send them to detention center where many poor Ethiopians are suffering now. Thank you for hearing me.

Asylum is a human right issue. It is sad to see that the Swiss Government is abadoning its long committment in protecting asylum seekers and refugees. What is happening to Ethiopians is beyond "voluntary repatriation". It is against the fundamental principle of "non-refoulme nt"-that no one should be forced to return without his/her will due to anticipated danger. This is contrary to the many refugee conventions in which Switzerland is one of the signatories.
To Switzerland gov't!
You says, we are free and democrat. You says, we are civilised and lead the world with fairness and humanity politic. But what are you doing now? Is it fair to stand against Ethiopians refugees? Is it yours civilised, democrat and 21th. politic?
Please, we Ethiopians beg you. Do only what your heart tell you not your mouth. We know your are kind and goodlooking.
Long live to Ethiopians refugees all over the world.
This is really awful and should be stopped. People should not be treated that way.
We demand the Swiss government to halt the deportation process until a democratically elected government assumes power in Ethiopia. Otherwise, the fate of the deportee will be torture, imprisonment and murder
THe Swiss govt needs to looka t this and correct their policies. DOnt they reaolise that once these individuals are returned, they will be slaughtered byt eh MELES regime
