Everyone wonders why the youth of today seem so sexual...here is your PRIME example...if this company advertises that sex is "the cool/in thing", so will the people who buy the clothing. Some people think it's the parents decision on what their kids wear...not always. Parents are not in control of everything like they think, I used to change clothes when I got to school because my parents didn't approve of what I wanted to wear. Fact is, if these graphically demeaning shirts arent there, no one CAN buy them.
our children are being robbed of their childhood by mass marketing agencies trying to sell all they can to whomever they can. Parents have the ultimate responsibility of what their children wear, but retailers need to be accountable as well.
I support this petition because I quite frankly am tired of being judged and compared to by a shirt. These shirts just give guys the right to say these things to us making us feel inferior and hurt. Also, these shirts are open up to children. Is it really appropriate for young minds to be exposed to this. I don't think so.
I support this petition because I think you are sending the wrong message to our teenagers today. I will not support any store that sales this type of t-shirts.
This is ridiculous. Our youth is already badly influenced by media, peers, and even parents sometimes. The last thing we need is t-shirts objectifying women and sex. We worked too hard for equality to have it ruined by demeaning women.
I support this petition because our youth and children have enough to deal with. They need people pouring into their purity not trying to steal it from them !!!
We should all support socially responsible companies. Since there are no laws that will force companies to have a conscience and do the right thing, we need to use our pens and our pocketbooks to send a message to these companies.
I am thankful to have the opportunity to sign this petition. I am beyond disgusted with how our youth are targeted with such trash and how it is displayed in store windows as well.
teens have enough inappropriate influences in their lives as it is. We need more models of how to act and portray ourselves in positive lights, not more trash.
because these shirts aren't funny. More teens than you'd think find them insulting and offensive. There's no reason that places like Hollister need to sell shirts like this.
