In the last week, donna_honor of the Yahoo Guy Sebastian Group has treated two of groups members in unfair ways.

Donna is a current moderator at the group and she has the option to ban people but should that option be available to someone who can't handle situations in a fair and decent way.

She may not know this but her attitude to some of the members has made members leave and get all upset and angry which has caused havack in the group. Her latest incident involved the banning of ut0pian_reality aka Jamin. She has not even confronted him about what he did and why she banned him. This I find is very unfair he has a right to know why she banned him. It seems to some of the members of the group that she dosn't want to confront him because she herself knows the reason was lame. Donna has had it out for ut0pian_rea1ity for some time now and I guess she took matters into her own hands without discussing it to the rest of the Mod Team.

Even the incident involving whitelinemills aka Steff should have been handled in a better way by Donna! The havack created by her opinions was unecceary and she should have thought of the consequences that followed, the pain that members felt, the people she hurt. It all could have been avoided!

So is Donna worthy of being a moderator at the group?

Does she handle situations in a mature way?

Does she confront her situations?

These answers can only be answered by the members of the Guy Sebastian Yahoo Group!

Can I ask a question? What on earth do you think you will achieve with so much hatred. Revenge may be sweet but it is only a momentary and fleeting thing. All you will do in the end is hurt yourselves with continuing this petty and immature vendetta against a wonderful lady called Donna. And do you realise that you are not only hurting Donna but Guy aswell. He and other members hold the highest respect for Donna and I am sure if he were to read these ridiculous accusations and feel the bitterness between the lines he would be deeply hurt. The Yahoo group is a happy group and I hope a place where Guy feels welcome at all times. Don't spoil it for him! Forgive and forget, get over it, move on and for God's sake GET A LIFE!!

It is glaringly obvious that a number of these 'signatures' belong to one and the same person, therefore this petition has no validity WHATSOEVER!!! What a lot of absolute twaddle!!! The other deserving moderators are gradually getting themselves known but Donna is the 'face' of this group and has helped and encouraged countless numbers of appreciative members. I suggest this petition be filed in the bin where it belongs! We ARE a happy GUY family and will no doubt continue to be so!!!!! GO GUY!

Having read all the comments made I would like would like to say this petition is petty and destructive. It’s time to stop all this nonsense. However "Concerned" has asked some good questions and perhaps he/she is right. Maybe it is time to formulate some guidelines that allow everyone to understand their own and others roles and responsibilities.

hi, welll when i first saw this i was think i dont want any part of this but then i thought why not have a say. ok all the mods do a really good job on this site they make sure that we are all happy. yes there are a few things that may b a lil unfair but nothing to out there im not sure why jamin was banned but im sure there is a reason. rather then make this silly pertition act like an amuture person and talk to the person,i have to say that donna has done nothing worng that i can see whith this isuess. stef left on her own free will and now she is bak so what is the big deal. donna does do heaps for this group when there isnt anyone around she is there to help i knwo taht i found my self requesting donna help may time with different thing. (due to being at school or at owrk we know that donna is alway there). my final words on this is i think is rubbish i dont think that any one should have to be kicked out or made stand down as they are doing there job. (in all ways. all the mods to a great job and i think donna should stay as mod sorry for those who dont agree but what you will find if when u need a mod adn there is not one around then u will donna was sorry. donna dose a great job keep ther there thank u

I have been a member of this group from almost the beginning. I know why Jamin was banned. Strange how some people signing this petition against Donna either don't know the full story, don't belong to the group, or even know that Mish, who has been around a long time, is a mod. Mods' names are given fairly regularly as people sometimes need to contact one...it is not a secret society. No-one is banned without good reason. Stef was not banned, she chose to resign, and is now back,she also VOLUNTARILY told the board about what happened. The mods are busy people and Donna has gone beyond the call of duty in being available during almost all daylight hours well into the night. This is a group formed when Guy was competing in Idol. One of the owners is his brother Ollie, do any of you trouble makers know that??. Mail the owners with your petty attempts at defamation I'm sure Ollie will be very interested. This board is a happy place with occasional "waves" usually caused by misunderstanding not blatant attempts at maliciousness. We all work hard to have a place where Guy can come and be made welcome and have formed amazing friendships. This petition will NOT succeed, you have brought trouble on your own heads

I have been an active member of this group since December and followed the board closely. I can say without reservation that Donna has done a fantastic job for the group and for Guy. No-one has been banned from the group at any time without good reason. PEOPLE SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT NO-ONE CAN BE BANNED WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF MORE THAN ONE MOD. It is a caring and fun group and Guy himself has said he loves how the group is one big happy family. I was online when Jamin was banned and I saw his post. He was obviously out to make trouble and this is not what this group is all about. We are here to support Guy. It is interesting to note most of the people whose signatures appear here do not know the full situation and some are not even members of the group so what are you doing here?

Im a member, I view the boards and messages to get my new son Guys where abouts!! I never Post as I am too scared to. No one can have their opinion without starting a riot, and Im all with Jamin and Steff on this issue. Donna has taken it too far!! What happened to the good old days where everyones opinion mattered!! Donna you should be ashamed of yourself!

Dear Mods!! I agree with most of this petition!! Why don't you just unban Jamin and he can have a say as into what happens!! Its unfair that you are trying to cover it all up!! Let him speak!! About the Donna thing, I think her time is Up!! Im sorry but she should have gone ages ago!! Love Sharon

Thank you for your answers, however, not all my questions have been answered nor are all responses factual. While you believe the best people for the job and are doing all they can for the group not everyone else seems to agree with you. Obliviously there are problems on the board regarding the Mods otherwise this petition would not have been started. Over time the board has grown it’s time for the broad owner to formulate policies and procedures with regard to the running of the board and to make them known to all members. A grievance policy would obviously be a good place to start!

mods are appointed my the owners. they help run the group my monitoring behavior and updating/posting photos etc. theres only been one time where a mod has left. and she resigned and was not relieved. there are moderator meetings every week. moderators are not displayed freely as to keep privacy. nor does this happen in any other group. Mods keep the group running so that members can enjoy the group. i believe that this group is being moderated by the best people and do all they can to help the group.

I’m NOT signing this petition but would like to ask the following questions regarding Mod’s. What are the criteria used for the appointing of Mod. What duties do the Mods perform and how many Mods are there and who are they and why can’t they be identified on the front page? Who manages the appointments of the Mods and who monitors their performance? Is there a grievance procedure when a member has a problem with a Mod? And if so what is it? Do the Mods communicate regularly as a committee and are minutes keep? If so, why aren’t these minutes (edited version – of course) made available to all members? Dispel the feeling of secrecy people!!

Whoever created this petition should be banned! And I will spend considerable effort making sure that happens. With all the positivity and excitement that should be surrounding the release of 'Beautiful Life', those of you who are insistent on creating a stir with your immaturities are really disappointing me.

I have nothing to do with this group, Im just a passing person viewing the petitions. It seems to me that most of the people who have signed the petition don't like her. Its easy take a Poll in your group to see what the members want..!
