10 Jun 2005 - 8:19    Mary Henderson :
10 Jun 2005 - 9:22    Virginia Slinkard : Where is your integrity AKC? If you let this pass without suspension you demonstrate how little you care for those who have supported you and their dogs (to whom you owe your reason for existing). I am ashamed and embarrassed for you; but it is not too late to make it right.
10 Jun 2005 - 9:36    Jim Winsor DVM : If the AKC regulations do not deal with this felony act the regulations must be changed.
10 Jun 2005 - 9:45    Arthel Clark :

10 Jun 2005 - 10:16    Desiree Snider :
10 Jun 2005 - 10:31    Julian Hale : Disgusting. Paperwork errors result in suspension, yet felony theft of another breeder's dog results in no sanctions whatsoever?
10 Jun 2005 - 10:38    Gregg and Beth Star :
10 Jun 2005 - 10:38    Elizabeth Hassan : While justified, people have had registration privileges suspended for far less. On the other hand, horrendous kennel conditions are ignored...so long as paperwork is in order. The lesson to be learned is that it is perfectly acceptable in the eyes of AKC to steal dogs or house them in filth as long as they recieve the paperwork and $$$. A sheer discrace to the sport of dogs.
10 Jun 2005 - 10:49    Lisa Stevens : A shame that the AKC has no more integrity than some of it's members.
10 Jun 2005 - 12:19    Linda McKee : Another nail in the coffin containing AKC's integrity!
10 Jun 2005 - 15:36    Catherine Lord :
10 Jun 2005 - 17:38    Russell Foster : My wife was involed with the return of this dog to Ms. Alford, was taken from her yard with help from Ms. Hedlund this should happen to no one no matter who they are Arlie has been in good standing with AKC please blow off any thing bad you hear breeders all to ofen never have much good to say about someone.
10 Jun 2005 - 18:23    Lynne Scott :
10 Jun 2005 - 18:31    CarolAnn Worsham : If the courts found her guilty, why isn't that enough grounds for AKC privileges to be suspended? I would think that would be automatic.
10 Jun 2005 - 18:55    Carolyn Nagle :
10 Jun 2005 - 19:00    Monica Mercado-Arenas :
10 Jun 2005 - 19:07    Sue Lumpkins :
10 Jun 2005 - 19:13    Tiffany Berg : I know of this because of the person who help get the STOLEN dog back a THEFT is a THEFT in anyones world to be found quily of a felony what is wrong with the AKC the FELON in this case was just plain MAD at Ms. Alford she did not own this dog with her had nothing to do with the STOLEN dog so what AKC is saying go head take another breeders dog it is ok with us WRONG do you breeders not PAY AKC they better wake up and smell the coffee and suspened her NOW
10 Jun 2005 - 19:48    Elizabeth S. Long : I cannot believe the AKC's stance on this! Just removing "Clipper" from his familiar surroundings/handlers is a form of cruelty, not to mention the message it sends to other persons of questionable motives - that it's O.K. to do whatever you want to another person's dog! You'll fine/suspend exhibitors for unsportsmanlike conduct, but you won't suspend this woman for stealing/altering a show dog? Again, I find this position unbelievable! Thank goodness I show in Obedience and Agility, where it doesn't matter if a dog is neutered or spayed. If I were a breed exhibitor, I'd be even more flabbergasted!
10 Jun 2005 - 20:23    Linda Maingot :
10 Jun 2005 - 21:31    Camille Pentland :
10 Jun 2005 - 21:54    Janert Barber : This is a crime and should be punished by the body that is supposed to help protect our dogs.
10 Jun 2005 - 22:02    Tiffany Terranova :
10 Jun 2005 - 23:09    Polly Dupree :
10 Jun 2005 - 23:50    Trudy Kawami : this sounds on the fqce of it, untenable. How could conviction of a crime NOT be grounds for AKC suspension?
11 Jun 2005 - 0:01    Susnn Taylor :
11 Jun 2005 - 0:14    Karen E. Cram :
11 Jun 2005 - 0:27    Sergio Gonzalez :

11 Jun 2005 - 0:28    Cindy Anderson :
11 Jun 2005 - 0:29    Alexandra Gonzalez :
11 Jun 2005 - 0:32    Kara Anderson Gonzalez : This is very sad that the AKC does not suspend a person for stealing a dog and neutering it. The courts will put them in jail but AKC does nothing. Thta is so very sad.
11 Jun 2005 - 0:42    Melissa Bausman :
11 Jun 2005 - 0:56    Roseann Devualt :
11 Jun 2005 - 1:58    Jill Hoppe : Ridiculous! It's sad that any ol' body can be a breeder, and that when something like this happens, more isn't done to correct these atrocities.
11 Jun 2005 - 2:06    Karen Stevens :
11 Jun 2005 - 2:22    Janine St. John :
11 Jun 2005 - 2:50    Karie Stevens :
11 Jun 2005 - 3:57    Amy Peikoff : AKC is not opposing "PAWS", either. Does it have any principles that it holds sacred?
11 Jun 2005 - 4:10    Vickie Lang : This is appalling! Wonder whose dog she will steal and neuter next? She is not prevented from attending dog shows, and being around show dogs, so wonder which dog will be next? AKC really dropped the ball on this one!
11 Jun 2005 - 4:11    Tammy Rhodes : This is unacceptable and there should be no question from the AKC board to take all AKC privilages away from Hedlund, NOW ..
