AKC's rules. Nothing is done. What is going on at AKC? |

I was suspect of the AKC playing politics. Now I know for sure. How can
you condone her theft and neutering and allow her to continue to
participate in AKC??? Your organization's credibility has hit a
new LOW..shame on you! |

This is a sad state of affairs to hear about. I can't understand
suspension of lesser offenses, but not for felony theft and damage to
property. Besides this, what could be more cruel to the animal and the
owner than to deprive the pair of potential future champions. Shame on AKC
for not taking action on such a heinus disrespect of another members rights
or infringement thereof. |

I believe teh AKC needs to rethink this situation. Theft of a beloved pet,
whether show, champion, or pet, warrants suspension at the very least - in
my opinion they should be banned for life from membership. |

AKC needs to suspend Clover Hedlund A.S.A.P. This is appauling!! I will
send this petition to everyone I know that was considering AKC registration
including myself. AKC needs to suspend Ms. Hedlund's
priviledge's for life. Until then, AKC will NOT see the likes of
me or my friends. Something will be done! DO YOUR JOB, AKC!! |

It is hard to believe that AKC can turn an eye on such a blatant act of

seen in public. |

Sara Futh :
Unless a person co-own3eed a dog and had reasons for not ewanting it used
for breeding, they have no right to neuter the dog, adn thi is apparently
NOT the case. - as for stealing it, sine the fact was roven in court, AKC
should back that decision by suspension. |

Cindy Lowe :
AKC, the premier dog club in the US, is muddying their status in the minds
of both the public eye and that of dog fanciers by not standing behind
their own rules. One would have to ask why? And while there could
potentailly be several the one that comes to mind first is money. Its no
wonder that we are losing both breeders and registrant's to other
registries. If some other registry were to ever organize itself enough to
start a show circiut, heaven help AKC. |

Theft of the dog alone should be an undisputed lifetime suspension of AKC
priviledges of the offender, but neutering as well? Why should there be
any doubt about what the AKC should do in this matter? By letting this go,
is the AKC not setting a prescident for others to commit this very same
crime in the future? Please look into this matter further, and I hope the
AKC will come to the right decision. |

HECK, YEARS AGO AKC SUSPENDED AND FINED ME FOR SIGNING THE CO OWNERS NAME

SHE HAD BEEN INSTITUTIONALIZED AND HER DOGS NEGLECTED AND SHE WAS FOUND
GUILTY OF ABUSE...THUS AKC SUSPENDED HER. I HAD NO KNOWLEGE OF THIS. I
FESSED UP TO SIGNING HER NAME....YET STILL GOT MY HAND SLAPPED. AND
