Practicly the only form of fighting we get, is some Kickboxing on ESPN, and boxing on PPV.
I simply can't understand why programs such as PRIDE, and UFC aren't televised here.
While you're at it, give us some decent wrestling in TNA IMPACT! WWE is bland.
The bosses of main event and foxtel must be braindead not to have UFC on australian telivisions it has become sooooo mainstream that i could see more people ordering UFC pay per views than wrestling.

UFC should be back on Fox 8 as it is one of the most watched main stream full contact sports in the world. Coverage needs to be shown on this side of the world.
I've been a big fan of UFC ever since it's debut. MMA is only getting bigger and bigger. It's time the rest of Australia woke up and got to see the gretness that is MMA.
ufc is massive in uk and in the states in is televised all over the world here in australia we are known as backward and behind to the rest of the world lets change it and get ufc back to australian shores lets get it on !!!
Because its the best sport in the world,2nd Rugby League, I love it, I live in Australia & we get Nada! Been watching them since UFC 1, I have about 70 Vidoes,Pride,UFC,IFC,KOTC , but never enough & to see it live would be awesome.
i am huge fan of Mixed Material Arts. I buy magazines each month (which are like 3 months old!!!) and purchase any MMA DVD i can get my hands on. It was a real let down when MainEvent took UFC off, they should bring it back, or atleast Foxtel should air their free to air TV Shows, Ultimate Fighter etc to boost MMA in Australia and then bring back the PPVs!!!
We want UFC back and once UFC is on, bring on other MMA Events such as Pride and KOTC!!!!

Mixed Martial Arts is an ever-growing industry and it'd be benefial for both Foxtel and its consumers to regularly air Ultimate Fighting Championship programming.
UFC is a sport that people who like Wrestling, Boxing, Martial Arts or fighting in general can watch and enjoy. The show would pull great ratings as it's widely growing around the world. This is one of the many reasons why I support this petition.
Its becoming bigger and bigger all the time and considering mainevent used to support UFC ppv's I dont see why Foxtell isnt trying to get UFC back. Especially with its high ratings and huge buy rates in the US.
UFC is one of the most electifying sports in the world. I love the sport and as an australian i cant watch it live and on my tv. I am basically forced to buy dvd's when i know the results to actually watch the match ..
I would love for once to watch it live and not know whats going to happen ...

Foxtel would capture the alreadylarge and growing wrestling/MMA Audience inAustralia. As well as exposing new viewers to UFC,which is great for the company, the sport, thefans and for foxtel.
. If Austar airs the UFC, I would sign up along with every UFC supporter in Australia. Rather than playing lame ads to get people to subscribe, give people what they want. With an Australian fihter, Perosh, fighting in UFC 61, there is support and demand for it in Australia.
Put it on, or the next time an Austar rep knocks on my door, I will hold them hostage and demand it! MMA is the future!
I support this petition because if UFC is supported in Australia there is a possibility of a main event, or future UFC fights could come to Australia and create great revenue. As well, there are many many fans in Australia who deserve to watch the sport they love.

We need UFC. It's reemergance in the US has been huge. It is one of the highest rating shows in its demographic and it's reality TV show the Ultimate Fighter has been a huge sucess
