By signing this petition you are stating that you agree:

1. Students should be a priority at UNM and be treated with respect by the administration and campus security.
2. The student section in The PIT should be moved and made into a cohesive unit in the arena.
3. Students should be allowed to stand during games if they have a ticket for the seat.
4. Students should be allowed to bring to games articles that demonstrate their support in the form of signs, flags, hats, etc. as long as it is not offensive and supports Lobo Athletics.

Student tickets to basketball should be "free" (i.e. already paid for in fees) like all the other sports. Plus, we need a student section that is not microscopic and that students will not think that they cannot get seats in because of past bad practices. Let's pack The PIT with students!

What the crap, I thought students were supposed to support their team, not get forced to do thing that make the game experience suck totally. I mean what wrong with showing support with flags and such. And the students need their own section to represent the UNM pride.

How can we support our fellow Lobos without a student section? Some of us are not wealthy enough to buy actual tickets or season passes. BRING BACK THE STUDENT SECTION!!!
