I support this petition. Well my son has lived with me for 5 years, and we continued to share financial responsibility between our selves. I had a accident at work, had to get an attorney, that had led to a large law suit. So things would not come back and bite me in the butt, I wrote a letter stating that Child Support had been shared between \\\\\\\"Mom\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\"I\\\\\\\", YOU KNOW GREED!!! gave it to her(Mom) and she took it had it notarized, and signed it, submitted it to the courts, along with a signed and notarized Credit for Direct Payment forms that also stated that I the \\\\\\\"father\\\\\\\" had paid her child support sense the day our son was born. We have to now go to Court to get a final hearing in front of a Magistrate. At the hearing she told the Magistrate that she had found out that I had a Large Law Suit and she would like to with draw all of her statements, if this means that she could get the $1000,000 that the magistrate told her she was entitled to with I had not paid her any child support.She then stated\\\\\\\" Well he maybe only paid me $20,000, so I should get $80,000.\\\\\\\" The Magistrate ignored 4 signed and notarized statements, and receipts, saying that over the past 4 years and 4 receipts and statements over the past 4 years should not be held against her(Mom) and that I (The Father) owes her $1000,000 that includes $60,000 that is interest. WOW- the Courts ignored the Notarized Statements, and went past all that not even given me the (Father) Credit for the $20,000 she told the Magistrate that I had paid in person in a Court of Law.

child support needs major overhaul. Fathers are treated unfairly. Some even have to pay support to mothers who spend all on drugs and leave kids for days. The mothers walk out, screw the father, take all his money and keep up their new boyfriend. Boy talk about whats right for the child. Make the other parent pay an arm and leg for a couple years and see how fast their mouth zips.

I support this petition. I competely support this. my husband has payed 130 a week for 4 years, even when the guidlines stated only 90!!! HERE IS THE TWISTER ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO WE RECIEVED CUSTODY OF HIS DAUGHTER BECAUSE THE MOTHER HAD HER TAKEN BY SOCIAL SERVICES, AND NOW THAT SHE IS ON THAT SIDE AND BY THE GUIDELINES TO PAY 100 A WEEK THE JUDGE ONLY ORDERED HER TO PAY 25!!!! They are so into screwing a father that when it is the mother they let her get away with it even after the kids are taken for neglect. This whole system needs a MAJOR overhauling!!!

My husband is going thru the same thing now he quit school and he is still having to pay plus he paid on a child 12 year then found out she was not his he got no credit for this. When we called child support in knoxville we was told we only help the moms dont know what to tell you. Was advised to get and attorney but keep on paying.

I support this petition. My boyfriend has always taken care of his nine year old son without the courts getting in the way. But guess what the min. him and I moved in together he found himself right in front of the court syetem that don't give a crap about any dad much less a good one. he has recently been laid off from his job and he went to court to see if he could get his monthly payment lowerd. Nothing he had to say made one bit of a differance, no matter what even if he has to lose everything he has and can't make that car payment,because shes getting all his money he has to make that payment. But I bet if she wanted to buy a new car or have more kids it would be no problem to give her more money even if he does not have it. Why is it that people know that the system is unfair,but nothing is done to fix it?

This country is being destroyed by selfish emotionally distraught feminists who want all men to pay for what a few deadbeat dads are responsible for. The responsible men have to support the child the child's mother and themselves through this corrupt system. It should be drasticly modified.

What I don't get is why if both of the parents were there when the child was created why both parents don't have to split the total amount deemed necessary to support a child 50/50.

I share 50/50 with my ex. I always provide my daughter with every thing she needs. I fill all the prescriptions and cover the health care which is over 1200.00 a month.My daughter is with me and my new wife everyday monday thru friday and we flip every other weekend. Today I had court and they decided that I should pay 75.00 a week. The judge wouldnt take the health care into consideration or the fact that I feed my daughter 64 out of 72 meals a week. The system is against any good parent who wants to do their share. Laws need to be changed now! There has to be a politian out there willing to take a stand. If no one will take on the challange then look for my name in the next election.

I support this petition because for the longest time child support, child custody laws have been unfair.Its un- American to make someone feel hopeless in receiving help with such a pressing issues, fathers have to live to and with all the complaints about Dead Beat dads do you even wonder why many of us run from our resposibility.
