It's been over 10 months now since my favorite account, Darkist, was frozen. It was no more than a mistake and it STILL has not been fixed. I always obeyed the rules, though despite that, the account with my most beloved pets and all my graphics, was taken away for no good reason. I sent in my submission immediately after being frozen, only to not get a reply for aound two months. Confused, I decided to send another. This time, I recieved a copied and pasted message that already appears when I try to log in to that account. I replied to that since that is what it said to do if you had questions, and guess what? I recieved that message again a month later >.< I already sent it again, but they just simply haven't replied for now what is months later. Here is a copy of the e-mail reply I sent them in case you wondering:

"Darkist

To whom it may concern,

The last person who recieved my submission really didn't seem to understand my situation, and perhaps did not read the information I provided about the incident. I understand this may be my own fault due to the fact I found it hard to summarize all that happened in the limited characters I could use in my defense. With that, I would like to tell you of what happened in full detail. You see, the whole reason my account was frozen, was a big misunderstanding. I sincerely hope you'll take the time to read through this, I miss going to Neopets terribly, but without my favorate pets, I haven't the heart to.

One night, I logged into my account, Darkist, to chat on the boards. It was around 10 pm (NST), which is when one of my favorite television shows is on, so I switched it on and watched it from my computer chair while I continued playing on Neopets. It was around the time the "Darkest" avatar came out, so I was quite happy because it matched my username well. That led me to go to the avatar chat boards and have a funny conversation about ironic avatars, like the one I had. The show wasn't being very interesting at the moment, and the thread I was in was moving very slowly, so I opened another window, and chatted in another board. Between commercials I would check the posts and turn around and continue watching the show.

Unfortunately, this somehow led up to the awful fate that was bestowed on my account. During one particular interval, I saw a scammer post in a board I was in. I believe it was one of those go-to-www.scam.com-to-get-free-np kind of things. Since a good friend of mine lost her account to one of these awful password stealing sites, I was anxious to keep others away from it. You should know I'm the type that likes to add humour to everything, I realize now I should have been more literal, but basically my post was as follows.

Though before I posted, I copied the scammer's post and my show happened to be at an interesting segment so I turned around for a few minutes. I then turned back to the computer and clicked on one of the windows to open it. I then pasted the scammer's post in with quotations around it (e.g. "hi") to show that it wasn't me speaking. I then typed something like "Scammer -.- *throws n00b in iceland*" and submitted it. My show was on again so I watched it once more, when I turned back and refreshed the page I found that I was logged out. Confused, I tried to log back in, only to find that my account had been frozen for so called, "asking for passwords."

I've come to two conclusions of how this misconception may have happened. First of all, a moderator may have seen my post in that thread and mistaken me for saying the words in the quotes and froze me. I'm not sure if you can, but I thought that perhaps you now have the ability to erase posts in threads, so perhaps even the other users were as confused as the moderator because by the time I posted, the scammer's post had been erased. The second being, I may have clicked on the wrong window and furthermore, posted in the wrong thread. By doing so, I may have confused some people and they reported me, seeing no connection about the scammer, and then I was frozen. It may also have been a moderator there as well who froze me because of the same reason.

You can review the post I was frozen for and see I'm speaking the truth. If something else happened, like someone hacked into my account and got it frozen during that time is a possiblity, I'd like to see what it was that froze them. That's unlikely, however, since I think the above is a more likely cause. If there's anymore information that could help unfreeze my account that I can bring up, just ask, and I will do so. I don't know too much about computers so I wouldn't know if there was. Please respond.

Sincerely,
Erica Wetch (aka Darkist)"

........I replied again with that message and still have not gotten a reply. So now I turn to this petition. Since popular neopians get unfrozen in a pinch, I usually wouldn't have a chance, but if enough people sign this, perhaps TNT will notice and one day, maybe I can see my pets again. Please, it would mean a lot. Feel free to post the name of an account that was frozen similarly :)

My account of 8 1/2yrs has also been frozen for buying and selling neopoints. I didn\'t even do that and they aren\'t willing to listen to me, just \"your account is frozen\" is all they keep saying! May we all get our accounts back!
