In recent years video games have become so extremely high tech that their believability is almost real. With this high tech era we have seen these games become graphic and violent in ways we never thought we would ever see. Games are teaching the children who play them how to commit crimes at an alarming rate. And with the availability of these types of games so readily accessible to younger children, we have seen an increase of violence perpetrated by those juveniles.

It is now time for the public to take action and call for prevention to the easy availability for these games. We believe that laws must be made and enforced to stop the sell of those video games that are extremely graphic and violent. And that any adult, be it the establishment or parent that helps juveniles gain access to these games, is just as responsible when a child commits a crime.
If a retail store sells certain types of games to children under age, that store should be held liable as well as the child if that child commits a crime. If a parent purchases certain video games for their children and a crime is committed, the parents should then be held responsible as well as the child.

The ease with which children can obtain these horrendously violent games must be stopped and those who give children that access should also be held responsible if crimes are committed. It is the only way we can prevent children from learning the ease of violence through games.

We the People call on all Senators and Representatives to introduce and pass laws that will stop any adult from allowing children to purchase and play those games.

those video games teach children the real world, in a fun way. I say videogames are a better educational tool than the Bible.

I HAVE BEEN DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE/WHEN THE PARENTS OF THESE POOR CHEILDREN LOST THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO THEIR CHILDREN. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THAT THERE SHOULD, AT THE VERY LEAST, BE SOME SORT OF SHOWING OF EFFORT TO HAVE PROPERLY TRIED TO NURTURE AND TRAIN UP THEIR CHILDREN.

Would you teach your son to point a real gun at someone? Hopefully not. With all the worthwhile games available why let them watch trash like this. It is so unreal it is absurd to let it be continued as a 'Game' . It is not a game. All it teaches is HATE!

Why are we teaching children to become violent? What is the purpose? To destroy ourselves?

As video games become more and more violent, so do our children. It is time to put limits on how easy it is for juveniles to play those games and to make those who help them obtain the games just as responsible when crime is committed.
