This is to get a gasoline and diesel fuel price maximum price [Herein referred to as a gas price cap]. This is to limit the fuel price to no greater than $2.80 per gallon all across the state. Also, profit made from the fuel consumption should be partially spent to research and implement alternative fuel sources and to build oil refineries through the state of Wisconsin in locations with large areas of space. Oil companies, with proper reason, may have the prices increased, but to no more than $3.00 per gallon. Proper reasons do not include the "need for more income" or "the war in Iraq".

Note: Due to the nature of this petition, I request that only residents of Wisconsin at or above the age of 17 years, or persons who hold a valid Driver's License sign this.

As a high school student, it's hard enough finding a job, but now I can't even afford to go to school and back everyday just because of the prices.

I am on a fixed income and am finding it more difficult to afford gas. This is hard for me as at least 2 times a year I need to go back to Michigan for medical appts.
