I'm all for a new flag, not that I dislike the one we have now! I love the Southern Cross, not a huge fan of the union jack. I'm not a big fan of this flag, 'yeah' doesn't do it for me, I'm sure this flag would be awesome at a cricket or footy match, but as a nation symbol i'm not so sure.
its about time we got rid of the union jack, because I am no second class pom, the queen is no queen of mine or australias for that matter, she does shit all in her home country and even less in OZ. being in the UK at the moment convinces me even more that we need another flag. peace

for sure. not a huge fan of the colours but it's a huge step up from what we've got. much more representitive of the population and culture than the current flag. what's with all the "red white and blue" anyway? we should strive for our own culture, not to blend in with england and america.
the flag definately needs to be changed anything is better then what we have at the moment and while we are at it change the anthem too. something from wolfmother would be good.
if we can vote for who represents us as a country (johnny h), then why can't we vote for what symbol represents us? 'yeah' sums it up better than a fucking union jack!
I think its really original! I love the Pink and Green but it doesn't look very country like. It's better than the kangaroo and the boxing gloves though.
