I support this petition because I think Australia definitely needs a new flag. The Union Jack sitting squatly in the corner, although showing respect to our founders back in merry ol' England, is outdated and in need of replacement. The Southern Cross might have been a good idea at the time, but now it's boring. Last of all - we need new colours. Original colours. Red, white and blue has been done so many times before! The pink and green YEAH flag, on the other hand, is original, positive and sends exactly the sort of message Australians want to see.
