I as a young person living in Northampton think the county council is ridiculous and boring. Not only have they cut the annual street fair, but a youth arts building (roadmender) lost its funding and had to close and now they are hoping to improve the Youth service by making all the workers redundant and closing all youth clubs in the county (70), this also means that Connexions will lose staff due to this change.

This is where my idea of old people in suits making out of touch desisions comes from.

I was told by a Councillor at Northampton youth forum that if the roadmender closed down, it didnt matter, theyre are plenty of Youth clubs and actiities in the area.

Aparently not (any more.)
