My signature appears below to urge you to protect the citizens and children in Douglas County from the dangers of youth access to tobacco, a Class A carcinogen known to cause cancer, heart disease, and other illnesses. As an adult in Douglas County, I believe children have the right to a healthy start in life. Please take a stand in favor of the public’s health by enacting an increase in tobacco retailer license fees to support compliance checks to keep tobacco out of the hand of our children
