CTF has received an influx of negative posts regarding the Network 06’ plan both prior and post to its launch. Many have complained of overcrowding (in some instances resulting in the rejection of passengers), lack of buses during the off-peak period or on weekends, and late arrival of buses to commuters’ stops.

After a resounding amount of people opposed to the new network, CanberraTransport has decided to commence a petition that will be available for participation up until August 1, 2007. Our team believes that if enough people sign the petition that we will be able to convince ACTION to change certain elements of their bus service.

The staff requests that you provide us with your Nickname, or First Name and/or Last Name and Email address, so that we can keep you informed on the petition. We also ask that you use examples when completing our petition form, and if ever a new issue arises, please make a new post.

The success of our petition, and more importantly, the future of bus services, depends on you. When posting please take a professional and serious approach to the issue, and remember that we are trying to help both you and the National Capital.
