I have been barely able to afford it but to date I have rescued 4 horses right out of slaughter pens. I refuse to ever buy a horse other than one from a meat pen.
I have 2 wonderful horses and could not imagine my life without them!!! stop this crazyness and how can you go into work everyday knowing what you do? STOP!!!
Slaughterhourses are the worst thing in the world. How can people kill a pour animal. It kills me to know that the beautiful creatures who helped us live, are being killed.
How come people get away with killing horses with a few mnths in jail but if a person kills a person it's like 32yrs -life either way they are still taking a life away from the earth.
Horse slughter is bad. It is disgusting. Even if they could treat the horses with respect and treat them with care before their end, it might help peoples souls a bit! But yes, it all should be stopped!
ppl seriously disgust me...i dont understand how ppl can be cruel to something to beautiful and faithful...animals have taught us so much thro time and this is how we repay them...thank god for ppl that care about them..

horse slaughter is outrages it makes my stomach churn it is as if there isnt enough meat in the industry to eat without having to kill innocent horse it is sickening they have something as stupid as fox hunting but they are still letting this go on i am disgusted !!!!
Horse slaughter is in-human. Horses shaped US history and without them we wouldn't be free today for they fought in battle that gained our freedom. WE owe our lives to them. Horses devote thier lives to us and then we go an eat them? shame on us...
Something needs to change and this is the only way I know how to make a difference. I have been riding for 5 years and my heart goes out to any horse who has suffered.
i have been riding for 8 years and i have had my morgan syndicat stinger for 4 of those years and he has taught me so much..everything he has donr has been for a reason and i never relized until i got a new trainer. i dont understand why someone would want mto kill something that can teach you so much.
I have watched a video of horse slaughter. I saw a horse get its spine cut and only die when it was bled out. I have seen the worst documant a person could see. If I had a choice I would send them to the wild were they belong. Were every mans footstep was in the west a horse's print was right beside it. That video I watched caused me to become a vegetarian.
I have my own horse and her name is Diamond Rio, she is blind in one eye. It hurts to think that many people would think that she is useless and should be slaughtered. My step-dad hates horses but he loves Diamond because she rounds up cattle and helps around the farm. I don't know what i would do without Diamond

Horses have been our friends and companions for centuries. We have ridden them , trained them, and we LOVE them. Please help end the the abuse and cruelty that these beloved animals are forced to endure for these monsters to make a small profit from them.
I loooovvvveee horses. slughtering is just sick crappy and mental. ppl say it is "human" by pounding them with a huge shocker slitting there throuts then stripping them out of thire skins. sounds pretty kind huh? other nice ppl just put them down. horses r a lot different from other animals they are very connected 2 humans and have built up our history. this is how we thank them?? ppl hoo think they r frikin tasty or dont care are mental complety special ed. i ride and my stable saves horses from slaughter and all of them r sound, young, and plain beautiful. so quit killing horses morons
I want horse slaughter to end because i love horses and it is cruel and unusual sich hearted treatment to be able to look into the horses eyes your about to slaughter and then shove a spike in their head. I hope they go to bed at night knowing how many people in the WORLD HATE THEM!

I support this petition because a long time ago people used horses to get around and tried to please people. the use other animals to eat but horses are used on farms to work.
