On Thursday 26th of February 2009 the bands Underoath, From First To Last, Funeral For A Friend, and Alesana are playing a sideshow at Sydney's venue 'The Forum'. The Forum is not the biggest venue, and it is also known that the venue does not often let people under the age of 18 on the floor, but places them on the balcony. It is almost common knowledge that band's within this particular genre appeal more so to a younger audience, then to an adult audience, also to point out the fact that some adults (not all, this isn't a personal attack) only attend these music events in order to drink alcohol, while the younger audience are obviously only going to see the bands. So with saying this, this petition has been made to attempt to allow Under 18's to be allowed on the floor of the forum, as the bars downstairs can be roped off, or the bar upstairs could be used to cater to the Over 18's, and the balcony could be restricted to Over 18's. There are many ways that the venue could cater to the Under 18's without it drastically effecting the Adults.

Note: We are not suggesting that the Over 18's should be restricted from the floor, only that it becomes an all ages area for the period of the concert.
