how can you just kill the poor creatures? there is more than enough land in
alaska for both the wolves and the people!
the wolves were there before us, and are blamed for many things that they
cannot help! many people judge them harshly for killing
our cattle, but we go into their territory and kill the deer and game
there, making it harder for them to find food to eat! is it not
instinct for them to go and find a bite of food where ever they can? the
courts even leagelsided killing of PUPS! that is
barbiaric in itself!

I support this petition. Wolves are extremely intellegent beings with
complex family structures. Roughly 1 in 10 FULL PACK hunts are successful,
and when thousands upon thousands of wolves are killed, we'll only have
over-population of caribou. Wolves have protected man since the stone age,
and we repay them now that we aren't dependant upon canines, by
shooting them. Not even by stalking on the ground, but flying up and
blasting whole family groups to tiny bits when they've done nothing
wrong. There was even a pregnant female giving birth to her pups that was
shot from an airplane, twice from the air, and lay there bleeding to death
when the airplane landed, and the shooter killed her at point-blank. This
is barbaric and cruel, and CANNOT continue. |

Governor Murkowski: I am a Wildlife Biologist. I have worked as a
Wildlife Biologist for both Maine and Florida state governments and for
the United States government. I am quite familiar with the problem of
heads of fish and wildlife agencies who see themselves as God by issuing
such policies that have no biological justification.......only political.
I am not familiar with your reasoning for culling wolves. But I also do
not know of any that exists. If your reasons are because the wolves are
competing for the available ungulates than I take exception to your policy.
If this is your reason than you need to be stopped; you can be stopped and
you will be stopped. It just takes the right people to do it. I ask the
people who run this website to contact me so that I can get the full story
and possibly make a difference. |

It is just so stupid of people to go out to shoot wolves (which is my
favourite animal), when all they are doing is surviving and we are
destroying the earth. We if anyone or anything should be killed it should
be us and then all the sensible animals can get on with their lives without

I support this petition because for years i have read about wolves getting
killed and this matter has been getting on mynerves for ages eversince i
was little.I have loved wolves and I would not like them to perish from
earth.Deer,Caribou and the other animals that are wolves' prey are just
their prey and without the wolves feeding on them it would over populate
like now.Wolves do not have other food resources like humans, who can eat
vegetables.fruits, etc. wolves' lives mostly contain meat.Not so much
of vegetables and things that we eat.We should not be killing them just
for the fight of food. |
