I walk my dog in Central Park every morning. I see 99.9% positive behavior from dogs and humans. It is healthy for the animals and helps keep the park safe!

Make a dog wag its tail, let it play like it was born to! keep the off leash policy. The is the best city in the world because of these thoughtful policies.
(1)---The parks will become less safe if dog owners are discouraged from coming to the parks because they are unable to let their pets play with other dogs off leash.
(2)---Dog owners are tax-paying citizens and should be able to enjoy the parks.
(3)---The current practice has been to allow dog owners to have their pets off limit for only a relatively short period of time that the parks are open. Is this asking too much?
any new york dog owner wants the fine liberty to let their dog run off-leash from 9pm to 9 am., and is responsible enough to see that he/she is picking up after their animal and making sure there is discipline. thanks.
NYC is a "pet friendly" city. We love our pets, (cats and dogs) and it makes everyone joyous to see pets walking in the streets and enjoying the freedom of romping in parks. Visitors love to see this. I get very positive feedback whenever I walk my dogs. Don't ruin the city for animal lovers (who premdominate) because of a few grumpy "I hate animals" people. They're negative influences in many ways. Control those folks.

If dogs are allowed to have some freedom to run and play as they should, it will be more productive for many people, even non-dog owners. They are less likely to create problems when then run off a lot of their energy.
