our parks accomodate so many activities, surely they can accomodate hours for dogs and their owners to convene and play and enjoy themselvces. thank you!
I think dog have right to be off leash.I see there times that park are empty so why not let the dogs off leash at least more than a hour. It humans that sometime need to be on leash.

The Anti-Dog brigade seem to comprise a set of curmudgeons hell bent on imposing their tunnel vision view on everyone else. They should realize that EVERYONE has to live together to make society work.
There is no argument against the "Dogs of Leash" rule. Dogs will make just as much mess on the public sidewalk as they would in the parks and the owners would be still be liable to 'pick up' after their pet as they are supposed to outside the parks. Dog owners would still be just as liable for damages should their pet injure someone as they would be in the City. The parks are for everyone, Cyclists, walkers, runners, dog walkers, and all other people going about their lawful and legitimate pleasure.
