Description/History:
En retirant le populaire train de 8h, dont le départ se fait à Roxboro, l’AMT n’apporte pas d’amélioration de service, mais bien une diminution de service pour la majorité des usagers (i.e. Roxboro et les 6 stations suivantes). Désormais, les seuls passagers qui auront le privilège d’une place assise seront ceux du tout début de la ligne. Une situation aberrante lorsqu’on sait qu’à Roxboro, le train de 8h se remplissait déjà à moitié pour être plein à Bois-Francs…. Ce train rétablissait un peu d’équilibre dans l’horaire, un équilibre maintenant disparu. Au nom de l’équité, nous demandons donc à l’AMT de remettre ce train à l’horaire.

By removing the 8h am train leaving from Roxboro, the AMT is in reality decreasing its service to the majority of its passengers. This popular train was a necessity and balanced out the train schedule, giving a chance to users others than those from the beginning of the line, to get a seat. As full-fare payers, and in the name of equity, we are asking the AMT to reinstate this train.
