Okay. What the fuck. I don't see why you people are so peeved by anime and Japanese culture. First of all, I don't support this AT ALL. I remember having a similar battle with another petition, but they were trying to get anime banned from US shores. That was a silly idea that'll never happen as it's a multi-million dollar industry. Now I find this petition, and you're not doing a thing besides projecting and attracting negative attention to yourselves. I don't know how much of you realize this, but when anime is brought to the US it's quite often much much different from how it originally was when it started in Japan. There's nothing wrong with having a hobby. It's no different than watching something like Mythbusters or Charmed, or Fear Factor. You people need to grow up and accept people for what they are, and not based on what they enjoy. I don't have anything more to say, other than using a petition as a forum is pretty silly. I hate anime. However, unlike many of my fellow haters, I actually have reasons. Because my time is nearly worthless, I've actually watched whole episodes of shit like Naruto, Ghost in the Shell, Inuyasha, and many more too horrible for me to name. I've collected more than enough data to conclude that anime sucks dirty fucking horseballs. Read on. Why is it that whenever they're doing reaction shots of several characters, each one of them gasps in an extremely exaggerated and retarded way? Fucking hell, real people don't act like that. Further, why is it that almost everyone in anime has ridiculous hair, gigantic boobs, or body-building physiques? If by some fantastic chance, a character has none of the above, then he'll have incredibly girlish looks, and be an insecure pussy about everything (see Neon Genesis Evangelion and Eureka 7). My biggest gripe, though, is with the unrepentant wanking. The main character is always so fucking awesome that he can hold a giant-ass samurai sword in each hand and slaughter an army of enemies at once. Or the sexy female lead will turn out to be an awesome warrior, despite lacking, you know, muscles. And there'll always be some "hilariou" scene where she beats some lecherous guy over the head, and becomes scary and angry. God, what kind of warped view of women must these animators have? Clearly they're virgins. Fucking assholes, the lot of them.
