NO! I DONT AGREE! it is your own fault if you are stupid enough to give out any real information to someone you do not even know! but... I AGREE with the fact that myspace is very unsafe because of sexaffenders. if children were more procatious, i dont think there would be as many problems.

Yea, youre right. I hate myspace and I feel very bad about the kids that got murdered/raped/kidnapped etc. I used to have a myspace but then, I deleted it. I hate myspace and Tom!

I don't support this petition. It is the parents responsibility to make sure their kids are only surfing safe sites. Parents should install filter software like Net Nanny, instead of complaining and getting rid of good services like MySpace that other people enjoy. There is no way that removing MySpace would stop these things happening. There are millions of chat rooms, blogs and IM sites that allow this to happen. But why stop good people using these services just because you can't be responsible for what your kids do on the net. This petition is rediculuous.

The site itself isn't unsafe. It's actually designed to be pretty safe if your not a complete moron and are a "my space whore" as their called. Don't add every single person who sends a damn friend request, don't chat with people you don't already know, and at the age of 13 or 14, you should know better than to meet people off the internet. just be more careful.
