BSL is a ridiculous law. There are so many nice pitbulls out there, it isn't right to punish the entire breed just because of the actions of a few individuals and the stupid people responsible for them.
I am a pit bull owner and my dog is the most gentlest dog I have ever owned. I love him so much and couldn't invision my life without him. BSL is not the answer and I will do anything in my power to make the world safer for my dog. It is not his fault that his breed has a bad rep and he shouldn't have to pay for it.
BSL IS NOT THE ANSWER! THIS BILL WOULD HELP MAKE RIGHT ALL THE INJUSTICES OF STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND ORDINANCES NOW ON THE BOOKS AND PREVENT FURTHER MISGUIDED ACTIONS BY OTHER LOCALES IN THE FUTURE! PLEASE ACT!
Dear People, Get wise. Stick together and stop voting for these people who come up with these stupid laws. My daughter would loose her life before someone takes her dog (Buddy). She won't run, she won't hide and she definitely won't give him up. DON'T RUN, FIGHT BACK! B A N STUPID PEOPLE, NOT DOGS!
One exception: in Flint, Michigan, if a pit bull is turned in to animal control, it is automatically put down. Unless it is a stray, at which point it has to remain there for 7-10 days, then is only retreivable with proof of ownership, if not it is then put down. So if you find one here, call the Humane Society. I believe they take them.
Stop BSL. If this law is passed people will just abuse another breed. So whats gonna happen in the end our gov. will try to band ALL large breeds. when inreality the smaller dogs are the more dangerous. My pitbull was attacked by a chihuahua aswell as my self.
I DO NOT support BSL. I do not agree with someone coming into my home and taking a family member that never hurt anyone away from us.

it makes me so sad and angry to know people can be so cruel! ANY animal can be loving and loyal...just depends on how they are raised...they are just like people...except for the fact that cant speak to defend themselves...if only humans knew what animals thought on this subject...mabey humans would have second thoughts about harming them.

Punish the deed, not the breed. I know a few pit bulls that are so sweet and loveable. Don't ban all pit bulls because there are some bad ones out there.
BSL should be banned not Pit Bulls. BSL is like saying a certain race of people are bad just because of their race, but instead it's dogs. That's just messed up
We have 3 pit bulls in our family and they are wonderful dogs. They live with other dogs and small children. There has never been a problem. Those dogs watch over these kids and play gentle with them. Lets work on catching these horrible people who train dogs to be aggressive. We have a friend who adopted a dog that was said to have been a fighting dog , and they dog is anything but harmful!! Please lets punish the cruel people, not the helpless animals ! There is no need for them to suffer due to human negligence!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!! WE LOVE OUR DOGS THEY ARE PART OF OUR FAMILIES!!!! :) :)
I don't have a dog, but I believe any type of dog can be mean with how it is treated. The same thing I believe that any type of dog can be sweet as pie with the right owner.
I have a pitt bull. She is and has always been nothing but friendly to people of all ages, shapes & sizes. She is animal friendly as well. Never an instance of concern pertaining to her being a threat to anyones well being. She is the best pet I could ever ask for.
breed descrimination is wrong! i have fostered 3 pit bulls and they were all lovely and would never hurt a fly. they are all successfully adopted and in loving families. one bad apple should not punish the entire breed. punish the owner and not the breed........
