totally agree the click wheel is not user friendly, terrible interface, for the same price you can get double the memory, double the battery life and double the reliability. ps dont get me started on i tunes.
i pods are simply a fashion statement. at any price range for an ipod theres a sony or creative equivalent that is much better/better value for money

Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying.

I got the same tramadol attack... well, not the same, because it was only about 20 comments instead of 90, and i t have any filtering set up, and I just deleted them one at a time... hmm.. the only thing really in common was that it was about tramadol... what filter do you have set up that caught them all?

IPOD hold button stuck, swapped for a *reburbished* one with apple with rest of warranty applied. Right after warranty up hard deive crashed. Replaced Lots of problems and now a year later it is dead dead dead Expensive piece of junk I have all the accessories so now I feel like I have to get another Apple or start all over again. That's how they get you They told me I could trad ein my old one and get a whole 10% off a new one. Junk

I suppor this petition because through trial and error, have come to realize APPLE SUCKS... at first, I was forgiving towards Apple, and they had a big name to live up to... but with shit products, theres no way they should be bragging, putting up high priced products, and taking time and effort away from other 'DECENT' mp3 players. Ipods corrupt video so quick it's not funny don't store any data on them exept for music if u must use them (despite thier horrible quality)
freezing is a real issue with these things apple could fix many of their problems with a simple reset button to diconnect th battery
I have have an 1G ipod, 3G one, Ipod photo 60 gig, ipod mini, and ipod nano. i bought the ipod video about 4 monthes ago, and its not too bad. The worse thing about the ipod is the battery life. The 60,000 or 65000 colour isnt too sharp on the lcd. the sound quality of my 5g video is better the its predecessors, but the video playback is ok. the most annyign thing is that it only takes mp4s in a specific format. I bought a creative zen vision:m two days ago, and the video and customization is waaaaaay better, and it has a really great quality screen, but the audio is not so great. ipod does not suck, and as technology improves, ipod will too.
ps. there will be a new ipod video coming out on march or april. its touchscreen (the whole ipod is a screen) which replaces the wheel.
I support this petition. I purchased an IPOD in early 2005 and although I haven't had battery issues, I have had other issues that made me wish I purchased another type of MP3.
most people who have i-pods dont even listen to music. they do if you count all the fake records. 90% of the i-pod community are posers.thats why they have the i-pod in the first place. true. the ipod is indeed genuinely awful. poor batteries (everyone I know with one has had to replace it) and ridiculous usb problems (unplug without stopping=reformat!).
