The "Justice" system in Armenia is really a Bribe factory. All judges are corrupt as I've witnessed first hand. I also was hit by a car in Oct in a crosswalk on Amiryan & consider myself lucky to be alive.
I was in Yerevan this past summer with scouts. We were a big group of kids and there were so many times where we were about to get hit by a car. It's ridiculous.
I was just in Yerevan in September for the first time and was horrified myself of crossing the same street that this poor girl died. Armenia has to enforce a policy concerning the dangerous driving situation in the country!
I strongly support this petition and hope that finally something will be done about the horrible driving in Armenia! Driving deals with people's lifes, and should be treated with the hightest care and respect!
Let's make our lifes more precious for ourselves!
Traffic laws must be changed in Armenia. I've had a few close calls myself in Yerevan. People need to feel safe crossing their streets and victims need justice.
I've been to Yerevan 3 times in the past 4 years. On several occasions I was nearly hit by a car running a red light. We need to demand that drives are held accountable.
Having been a traveler in Yerevan, Armenia from USA I implore you to improve the conditions of the roads in the city. I have had two near death auto incidents myself. Please improve the laws in Yerevan.
Support this with all my heart. It is so sad that we need a terrible loss like that to wake us up to the realities of unsafe road-crossing. But I hope that with the efforts like this the situation will improve.
Getting people (drivers AND pedestrians) to obey the rules of the road is the simplest and most wide-reaching step towards an increased understanding and acceptance of a rule-of-law society. I applaud this petition and pray that this sad and needless loss will serve as a rallying point for all concerned to take this matter seriously. Please do all you can - safe roads should be the least one expects of a modern society.
Rest In Peace arazik,Armenia is ours,Yerevan is ours, honorly death..yerani hayrenikum vakhjanvi bolor hay, baits voch eskan shut.god bless all armenians,i love u my ppl.
As a pedestrian crossing Yerevan's streets and a passenger in public transport everyday I often feel that we don't consciously register the risk and danger to which we subject ourselves, until we hear about tragic cases like that of Araz Melikian. Please make our roads safer!
Respect the rules. Because if you don't, others won't and one day YOUR beloved one or you yourself will be next to go forever.life is ALREADY short and hard.don't make it harder.
