Why is that when I talk to so many people they have never even heard of Arrested Development?
Seriously, nothing else on TV compares to this show, to cancel it would be inhumane.
This is by far the funniest, wittiest, and most intelligent show that has ever aired on the Fox network. Grant it doesn't quite stack up there with the great shows such as Police Chase 10 and Who wants to marry a millionaire. We are talking about a Emmy winning show here.
Nielsen ratings are corrupt, and changing a show's timeslot to a night where it is pushed aside for sports doesn't help. Married With Children and The Simpsons didn't do well at first either. Don't make another Family Guy mistake.
Fox always cancels my favourite shows. Managment seems to be lacking in the intelligence department... I suspect none of them understands the subtle comedy of AD which is why they are cutting it. It's the last show on Fox that I even bother watching... you guys have lost a viewer when you cut AD.
You suck FOX. All of you. First Family Guy, then Futurama... then you bring back Family Guy... face it, YOU SUCK. You will get dragged through the mud Murdock if AD gets cancelled!
Please don't cancel AD. This is is a critically acclaimed, award winning show! I don't remember the last time Fox had such a multiple award winnning, critically acclaimed show. This is the best show on TV and shouldn't have to be canceled because it gets absoultely no promotion from its own network. That is not the show's fault. The problem lies somewhere else.
This show is the single-most reason I even watch television anymore. I'm constantly telling new people about this show, and now I can call around to friends once an episode has aired and have a good laugh just remembering it. The quality of this show and it's consistent wittiness and excellent acting deserve to be kept on at any cost. Please!
This is the best show ever. This is because a majority of this country don't know funny unless there is a live studio audience to tell them when to laugh.Please save this show or give it to someone who will actually market it.
Nielsons lie. They don't target the smart crowd. The smart crowd watches Arrested Development. There is a large number of college students who watch Arrested Development, but the Nielsons don't track college students. Here at Syracuse University (S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications), students watch this show. Nielsons lie. The demographic for ads, is being missed. Money comes from the smart, and successful. They watch this show.
People of FOX, before cancelling this show, please actually try promoting it first. If you let people know when it's on and how funny it is, it will at least have had a chance.
Easily the greatest comedy on television right now. Absolutely brilliant and hilarious. Leave it to FOX to cancel one of its only shows that has some intelligence and creativity to it.
