I don't know how I missed seeing this show - I thought it was on a cable channel I don't get. I have now watched the DVDs of the first 2 years and I would say it is absolutely the best thing I've seen in years, and I am addicted to it . How can Fox think of canceling it is beyond me. They've done a lousy job of promoting it.
I can honestly say this is the best show on television right now, and I've been a devoted fan of The Simpsons for over eleven years. Please don't cancel it.
this sitcom is the most intelligent comedy on any of the networks. fox needs to learn to market the good stuff. i hope another network picks it up or it goes to HBO.

Since Fox has seen fit to cancel the funniest, smartest show on television in favor of such quality programming as "Stacked" and "The War at Home", the least the powers that be can do is to help it find a home elsewhere. NBC seems like a great option. My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, AND Arrested? I'd be in heaven!

I am one of your advertisers and will refuse to buy any future spots with your station unless you agree to keep Arrested Development on the air. Oh, and while you're at it, keep Kitchen Confidential. Your stupid coverage of the Major Leagues ****ed up your ratings, not the lack of fan loyalty.
Just like Family Guy, the hardcore fans of Arrested Development will not rest until the show is saved. Where else are you going to find the most talented actors in Hollywood and brilliant writing (for people with a brain) in one show? Fox, since Married with Children you have always been willing to take a chance with shows that challenge the norms of what television should be. Don't take the route of NBC by just featuring shows that play off of every generic stereotype that exists today. Prove to us that you know a good show when you see it. Save Arrested Development.
Funny, I'm sure that if Arrested Development was advertised as much as Prison Break or The OC (which are practically back-to-back ads), it would get the ratings it's looking for. Fox has a reputation for not properly advertising, so much so that Family Guy listed all of the very quickly cancelled shows. Funny, there were a lot of those I liked once I had the opportunity to see them on DVD.
Arrested Development is truly the best show on television. If FOX cancels it I will have lost all faith with them. Arrested Development is also a big cult hit among the highly coveted 18-34 demographic. If FOX cancels it many of those viewers will take their TV watching to another network entirely.

It really is ridiculous that Fox doesn't promote the show, then cuts down the order when nobody watches it. If Fox promoted this show half as much as it does crap like Stacked, it would be successful. I think I made a HUGE mistake. . .in trusting that FOX would do right by this show. After being let down by their decision to cancel Undeclared many years ago (for what? so that they could air Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire instead?), I actually thought FOX might be willing to let AD be after nearly cancelling it twice before. I guess that'll teach me to trust or watch FOX again.

Arrested Development is the only good show on t.v. these days. This is the only comedy that targets people with a brain and to see it go off the air would be a sure sign that that air waves are dominated by mindless laugh-track guided shows.
