This is a disgrace. Seinfeld had awful ratings for its first four seasons and look how it turned out. Arrested Development is on a level comparable to HBO Original series programming in terms of originality and entertainment value. If Fox can't see this, hopefully another network will.
Arrested Development is the only show with the power to save a man's faith in television. It is not only the funniest, wittiest show on the air, but also that has ever BEEN on the air. It is an entirely new caliber of sitcom - an evolutionary step in telivision comedy - and even the idea of cancelling it is ridiculous.
Please help stop the Fox executives from making the worst mistake the network has ever made. All kinds of people gather together in GROUPS to watch this show, and whatever reasons Fox has for wanting to cancel it, be it ratings, lack of sponsorship, etc., cannot be good enough. Simply airing the show is philanthropic in itself.
Please save Arrested Development.

Not only is this show hilarious it is also brilliant. It's certainly the best series on television and could possibly be the best series ever.
For Fox to cancel it would not only be a huge mistake, it would be a stupid mistake.
Now if Fox would just cancel 24, I'd finally be able to stop watching the network entirely.

This show is easily the greatest comedy of all time and to stop it prematurely is a real shame. Nielsen has a flawed system that would hurt a show like A.D. Please either allow it to stay on the air or give to another network that will treat it better than you have.
My heart breaks at the thought of never seeing the Bluth clan again. This is hands down the BEST show on tv- why cancel it before it hits its stride? Please, someone from another network, pick up this brilliant show, and prove Fox wrong!
We've got to get this show back alive ... its truly the best show on television. How can this show get the axe, yet canned garbage like 'Raymond' can run for an eternity ... there is no justice.
Just goes to show you that when something of good quality is put out into the world, the smart people flock to it (and people with taste) and the masses don't get it. Please save this fine show for those of us who actually do have a brain and some good taste!
Arrested Development is the funniest show on TV. It's a sad world that we live in when a show with this kind of quality gets cancelled while other shows that aren't even half as good get to live on.
I am officially traumatized at hearing AD has been cut to 13 episodes. As our beloved Bluth boys would say, FOX has made "a terrible mistake." All I can say is I hope the cable networks are smart enough to snatch it up...
The cancellation of this show illustrates again just how greedy corporate America is. FOX cannot even give up 30 minutes of a week towards something that is art - that is so clever that my friends and I have incorporated so many of its phrases into our daily humor. Sad & pathetic on FOX's part.

I just heard that "Arrested Development" has been canceled, and I'm flabbergasted. AD is the smartest, most daring, and funniest show on TV right now. It's heart-breaking that Fox has decided to axe it. (Although I probably shouldn't be surprised, given their track record with intelligent shows.) I'm so upset. Taste the sad, Fox.
Oh, and once AD is off the air? I will have no reason to continue watching Fox. Good job, people.

Please do not cancel AD. It is the only Fox show I do watch, the rest of their programming is questionable. Do not let a smart and incredibly funny show go!
The Fox network is just full of great ideas! Maybe now you can get a show to compete with that wonderful CBS lineup. What the F@#k is wrong with you people. This show has singlehandedly saved the network sitcom, but nobody would know that becuase your too afraid to celebrate wit over "drama". Please come to your senses Fox, Please!
