It is a very sad day. Why can we not have a smart, witty comedy on television. That 70's Show has lost all of its originality and yet it continues. Please keep this smart comedy around.
This is my favorite show of all time. I own both seasons on DVD and I hope to have the third eventually, if it ever starts back up again. As far as I'm concerned, they can do 100 seasons and it'll never get old.
Without AD Fox will be left with nothing, but pure crap. Are you calling Prizon Break a show? Give me a break! (no pun intended) Stacked? War at Home??? All horrible! Arrested Development is the only smart and funny show Fox has. Plus, I love the Blue Man group standby understudy. Leave AD on!!!!!!!!!!!
i hate fox, i really do. i don't watch anything on your network anymore beside s arrested development, and an occasional family guy - if you drop arrested development i'm going to do everything in my power to stop as many people as possible from tuning in to any fox program - i don't understand how anyone could even consider cancelling such a great show - it is the best thing i've ever seen on tv - better than simpsons, seinfeld, south park, daily show - it's also the most intelligent humor i've ever experienced - dumbing down your network won't gain you ratings - i recommend you restaff whatever department makes decisions on what stays and what goes
This show is a blessing unto mankind. To see it cast aside to make room for reruns of Prison Break is a true sign that Fox will sacrifice intelligent, witty programming for crap. Apparently intelligent, witty programming just can't draw good ratings... when you keep moving it around in the timeschedule to make room for baseball! Seriously Fox, nothing is wrong with the show, you just fail horribly as a network.
How can you expect to get a huge audience when you don't even have a regular schedule for the show. You say it's Monday at 8PM but every other week it's not on. Maybe the reason you can't get good ratings on Fox anymore is your own incompetence. Sure Baseball got you big ratings for two weeks, but then it stopped, if you properly marketed Arrested Development and had a regular schedule it would get you good ratings constantly. You've done this from the beginning of the series, and you've done it to far too many good shows in the past. Use your brains and put AD back on with a regular schedule, market it the same way you do moronic shows like The O. C. and you'll have a guaranteed money maker for years to come. Seriously, it's not that hard to get people to watch a show that EVERYBODY likes.
With shows like Stacked, Fox is fast on it's way to become a porn central. AD is the only intelligent show, which makes Fox entertainment bearable. Fox network is making a huge mistake. Please reconsider.
I have never been so addicted to a show in my entire life? I find myself laughing hours later just thinking about standby understudies for Blue Man Group! Only in color... FOX, if you cancle this show, you'll find yourself saying, "I've made a huge mistake".
Absolutely no promotion, a crappy time slot and no creedence for die hards who don't have a "F" ing Nielsen Box. Remember what happened with Family Guy??! Hey Fox WAKE UP!!! If Stacked is what you want your network is headed down the CRAPPER!!
Arrested Development is the reason I watch Television. My Fox, my Fox, why have you forsaken me and cancelled the show?! From the depths of hell, I spit at thee, Rupert Murdoch.
A warning to Fox: I will never, ever watch your network again if you allow Arrested Development to be cancelled. This is not an idle threat. I am also still fairly young. I have many productive years of tv viewership left in me. I will watch the home shopping network on full blast before I tune in any fox programming if arrested development is cancelled. Sincerely,
