Get rid of "The War at Home" instead and put AD in that slot. It would do a lot better. I just turned two friends on to this show (they love it) and now it's getting cancelled? F*&^
Please don't et rid of the only thing that is actually funny. How can arrested development be in trouble and according to jim fine? The world is not right.
Awesome job FOX. We need more awesome shows like Stacked and Life on a Stick to replace the most critically acclaimed comedy on televisions. Awesome ****ing job.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE SHOW GOING I WATCH IT ALL THE TIME AND I'VE NEVER MISSED AN EPISODE AND I TAPE ALL OF THEM PLEASE KEEP IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok listen. you cannot rely on word of mouth to completly carry a show into a ratings winner. that would take longer than 3 seasons. it would be your biggest hit (the comedy equivilant of the oc)if you would spend like any money at all to advertise it! GET TO WORK!
Please give it another chance by placing it back-to-back with another show (to draw in viewers) on a night where there isn't so much competition (i.e., "Surface").
FOX, perhaps you should carry around a tape recorder and listen to some of the things you say in your press releases. As far as I'm concerned, you are the stand-by understudy network.
WTF!! How can you even consider cancelling the genius that is Arrested Developemnt, after the debacle with futurama FOX has done it again, damn morons.
This is the best, funniest, most clever show on TV. The writing is brilliant. You will be doing intellectual TV viewers an injustice by its cancellation. Keep the show. (I was going through withdrawl during the World Series.)
Arrested Development is one of the greatest additions to prime time and I have been an avid watcher since Day 1. If you take Arrested off the air I don't know what I will do with myself. C'mon. Let's be reasonable and keep at least some good programming on FOX.
AArrested Development is, quite literally, the only show I watch, andf I have purchased both seasons on DVD. I don't understand why your station is so die hard against quality programming.
Griffin Mill, Tim Robbins' character in "The Player," prediticed this 13 years ago: "I was just thinking what an interesting concept it is to eliminate the writer from the artistic process. If we could just get rid of these actors and directors, maybe we've got something here." "Reality TV", as it is euphemistically called, is cheap to produce, and the quality is reflected in the production values. "Arrested Development" may cost more, but the return is exponentially higher.
If it is such a bad show, why has it won so many emmy's and other prestigious awards? This is the BEST show right now, and frankly I was upset that they changed nights, then it was off for two weeks while baseball was already over and now they won't even be a part of the November Sweeps? Save the Bluths!!!!!!!!!
Let's be honest, Fox. You don't have anything waiting in the wings that will pull in better ratings. Hell you only have 2 hours of prime time instead of 3 and you can barely fill that as it is. Why dump a program that at least garners some critical acclaim and huge DVD sales? Idiots.
