This is one of the funniest shows on television EVER. At it's best it beats Seinfeld, it's that good. And anyone who manages to catch an episode loves it.
Case in point (is that even the right term to use?) I bought Season 1 on DVD a month or so ago. Since then, I've lent it to 4 people, each of whom loved it and have bought copies for themselves. Now Season 2 is making the rounds amongst them.
Arrested Development must stay on TV until those involved with the program decide they should end it, ON THEIR OWN TERMS. The show should have more effective marketing and should be put on at a decent time (Maybe Simpsons -> Arrested Development ->Family Guy) to get people watching it.
The BBC is currently showing Season 2 in the UK - At 11.20 on a Sunday night (and that's by no means a concrete time), yet the show still pulls in viewers. The DVDs are two of Amazon's top sellers. People want to watch this show, why won't you let them?
I only started watching this year and i am totally hooked. I have since rented and watched (several times) both season 1 and 2. People are just starting to realize that this is one of the best sitcoms of all times. Like Family Guy before, it is slightly ahead of its time - when people catch up with it, it will be a massive hit.
Com on you have to be stpupd such a great show, no charactor is boring no episode is boring nothing about this show is boring, each tiem iw atch it i laugh out loud to my self i ahev gotten everyone of my friends addicted to it, just come on dont take this one actaull great show away, i never uset to watch tv and tehn i my brother interduced this to me and it made em love television..even if it has low ratings its not hurting anyone, and maybe if peopel werent so narrow minded they would realise how great it is, instead of cancelling it find a better way to advertise cause i knwo once somenoe finds this show and realsies how great it is, tehy will love it and tehyw ill tell there friends and then it will be high rated!! dont cancel it!!!!!!!!!! your stupid to do that you lame ass idiots!!(thats right tahts as low as im gonna sink in my filthy moulth:) )
FOX cancelled Family Guy, which was a huge mistake. When they realized that, they brought it back, and I hop ethey do the same here too. This show is even better than Family Guy.

Fox making another stupid mistake. This one will be their last and biggest in my book. Intelligent humor can barely last because of the mindless morons running and watching Fox. Please keep 1 good show on!
I just recently got into the show, watching the DVDs, and I can truely say it is the funniest tv show I have ever seen. It is a real shame the FOX is cancelling it.
Arrested Development is the best show on television. Buy the DVD's and give them out as Christmas presents and maybe Fox will change it's mind about cancelling it.
they freakin' called this show a classic in its first season, FOX just wants to make room for crap shows like "American Dad" which will never stand the test of time. Bad move.
AD is the only reason i chose to turned the TV in years. cancelling it would also cancel the chance for FOX to cash in on a cult following that continues to grow over the years.
Can the intelligent people have at least one f#$%ing show!!?? You know what, f$%^ Fox, im sure some other network will pick it up, as good things can't be ignored..........
what i wrote on imdb and another petition: my mother, who, unlike me, believes in god and voted for bush, loves arrested development as much as i do. when you consider the gap/bridge between us demographically, you may end up with some fox execs saying, "I've made a huge mistake."
Please keep one of the few great shows left around as long as possible. Do not reduce the number of episodes, or even consider cancelling this excellent program.
Dedicated fans of AD convinced me to give this show a shot, so I bought the DVD. And they were right. I have since become one of them and been activally convincing - and suceeding - at getting people I know to give it a shot. And now this. Why oh why would you cancel such a fantastic show?
Please do not cancel AD. Have you ever considered that the people with Neilson boxes don't watch but people without them do. The Neilson system does not work. Everyone I talk to watches AD I don't understand that low ratings. Please save AD.
