Tough to get ratings when you put this show in stupid time slots. And despite the low numbers, my guess is that you have a highly targeted audience that would be very attractive to certain advertisers.
After the Family Guy resurrection you'd think Fox, of all stations, would have learned to give critically acclaimed cult-hits a chance to catch on with a wider audience. Or maybe at least give this show a decent time slot like, i don't know, the one they're wasting on that terrible "War at Home" show.
FOX, you are stupid! Put Arrested Development back on Sunday, instead that pukefest, War at Home. And please, cancel Prison Break. SAVE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!!!
This show is amazing please do not let it go. It is one of two shows I watch all week. How on earth can you keep War at Home and cancel this show. Are we living in a society of complete idiots.
It'll be the biggest mistake since cancelling Family Guy - didn't you guys learn anything?! How do you expect Arrested Development to compete with Monday Night Football?!
Please do not cancel this show. It's the most genius show I have ever seen. It is this decade's Seinfeld (actually, it's better!) Every episode has me in stitches. Not to be rude, but does anyone at FOX actually watch their own shows??? My guess is NO.
If this show is take off the air for another reality show, which it will be, I am going to smash my face into a wall 1,000 times. Each time screaming "what the fox is going on?!?!" Seriously though, don't cancel it. arrested development, the family guy, and football are the only things to watch on tv anymore. I'm not kidding. that's it.
Changing the night back to Sunday might help - I have class during the week and always miss it. They have The War At Home on after the Simpsons - we always turn it off. KEEP ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT ON THE AIR!!!!!
Fox has got to be joking. They are incredibly and unimaginably stupid if they can watch Arrested, take into account its awards, and also the fact that it is their BEST show and THE best show on television. Why dumb down FOX television anymore. At least leave a few well written shows aboard. KEEP ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.
It's very rare that we see high quality TV shows anymore that try to break the mold of every other show. If "The Office" can get high ratings, why not Arrested Development? Perhaps it has soemtihng to do with marketing...
While I love the show, I think it is pointless to beg Fox to keep it alive. All they care is ratings and - let's face it - the majority of the population just does not get this sort of highly intelligent humor. I just hope that more elitist network like HBO will pick up the show, so the Bluths will live on.
