The Neilsen families must be complete morons to let this show meet its demise. And the executives at FOX must be on par with the idiot Nielsen families to think that nobody is watching this show. I cant wait until HBO picks this show up because we all know they are smart enough to keep it on the air where it belongs. There shouldn't even be a discussion of cancelling this show, much less it actually happening.
I got addicted to this show after my dad was in the hospital out of town for a few months and I was stuck in a motel room for a few weeks and every sunday this brightened my day
Fox executives have
underestimated the intelligence of their audience. Give it a decent,PERMANENT, time slot and concentrate on advertising it as much as it's cash cows like the O.C. and Prison Break. I guarantee it's ratings will rise. Please don't allow the injustice of cancelling this show and keeping Stacked on the air.
Please do not cancel this show!! Of all the awful stuff on tv..I can't believe you would cancel such a witty and wonderful show!! FOX..do not cancel AD!!
It's too bad that the majority of Americans are idiots and don't get this type of brilliant comedy - Come On! I guess it's back to such quality reality programs as "Who wants to marry a pig farmer"
Please do not cancel this show!! Of all the awful stuff on tv..I can't believe you would cancel such a witty and wonderful show!! FOX..do not cancel AD!!
I'm sorry, I forget: HOW many emmys did "Stacked" win? Or, remind me, how is the premise of "Prison Break" going to last beyond a few months?
For shame, Fox, for shame! I can only hope that some other network does pick AD up, market it CORRECTLY, KEEP IT IN THE SAME TIME SLOT, and then reap the financial rewards of the DVD sales, and a fan base that will grow, if the show is handled properly.
FOX didn't even give it a chance this time! They ran 3 episodes and preempted it with baseball and now, Prison Break!? They advertise the time slot non-stop for a few weeks and then they never show it in that slot. How is this show ever supposed to find a substantial fan-base from which to draw ratings? Although I'm glad FOX renewed it for Season 3, I don't know why they did it if they were going to treat it this way. If they really want to make money off the show... here's an idea... GIVE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT ITS OWN TIME SLOT-- A CONSISTENT TIME WHEN PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY TUNE IN AND WATCH IT. EVERY WEEK. I understand preempting Simpsons and King of the Hill reruns but this is seriously retarded. How is the show supposed to take off if people don't know when to watch it???
This is outrageous! I normally don't make an effort to watch any show regularly except the Simpsons but I made an effort on this show. I think the viewing has gone down because of the move to Monday nights. This move was made without much publicity and Fox clearly does not back the show as much as it does for others. This Show needs to be kept on television. Does Fox really want to spawn another Family Guy episode?
This is simply the best show on television. Cutting back episodes -- let alone CANCELLING it, is just wrong. Why must the only intelligent and genuinely funny sitcom on tv be penalized for being as such? Why must fans with intelligence and a decent sense of humour be penalized by extention? Please, if any other networks are reading this, pick up this show -- it comes with a hardcore, "solid as Iraq" fanbase, who will buy anything you want to sell in order to keep it on the air. Please, help us put Fox to shame, and make them weep salty tears of bitterness and remorse. (How can that not be appealing?)
What ever happened to the days when networks put a show on for 1 given time slot for an entire season of 30 shows? They only made exceptions for holidays and the President. Now they make great shows hop all over the line up so no one can even figure out where the shows are much less develop a good routine of watching them. Network executives suck. Arrested Development rocks.
