You have made a more than one mistake. Why was it changed to Monday nights, competing with the football? Who makes your programing schedule, my daughters friend works in the business - it is't that hard to figure these out!
Don't add this to the list of great shows that were wrongly cancelled, yet had/have a strong following: SportsNight, Family Guy, Futurama... Hmmm, two of those were also FOX shows, one that has been brought back and another with rumors of such... good call execs.
Please save this show. Just change the time slot to right behind the Simpson’s that has a huge built in audience. This show is one of the few bright spots on all of Network tv, don't give up on it yet.
i mean, mondays? before some HBO wannabe b.s. miniseries? The War at Home on sundays? are you kidding me? maybe a guest spot from kelly clarkson will draw the fox target audience of lazy escapist red state morons
I read that their decision was helped by low ratings on the 7th - but many of us had no idea it was going to be on again after so many Prison Break replays and sports events. I recall no ads letting us no it was coming back. Prison Break, on the other hand, is getting ALL KINDS of press...
If you can't make it work on regular Fox, maybe shuttle it off to FX with Starved, Philadelphia, and then bring back Lucky, too. That would make FX teh best network on television.
AD is the best written sitcom currently on the air. Also: its target audience is probably college-educated viewers with who spend a fair amount of disposable income on high-ticket technology items. Sponsors? Start lining up now.
Let's see, a crappy show like The War At Home gets the slot between Simpsons and Family Guy while a great show like AD goes up against MNF. The folks from FOX must have it out for Jason Bateman.
This sucks. I'm crying on the inside and outside. And maybe even other places I've never cried before. Every time I turn on the TV, which is rare, there's nothing but donkey poop. Awful, awful television (except HBO). Please, for the love of Jebus, don't cancel this show. This and The Office are all the networks have to offer. Don't blow it!
This is the only show on TV worth watching. It will go down in history as one of the finest sitcoms ever made, just don't make it history just yet, I need more time!
AD is without a doubt the best show on tv right now. How can you cancel such a clever, hilarious show that puts all other sitcoms to shame? Learn your lesson from Family Guy.
Just goes to show FOX's brilliant marketing strategy. Show 2 episodes, put it on hiatus for a month and a half, then once everyone has forgotten about it, put it back on the air and wonder why no one watches it.
Arrested Development aired against Monday Night Football and was pre-empted for three weeks for the World Series. How could it not have failed? Hey, Fox, remember how you treated Family Guy during its first run?
