This is the only non-animated show on TV worth watching. Please don't ruin TV by replacing such a smart and well-written show with whatever reality TV drivel you're considering replacing it with.
This show is truly quality, intelligent television and deserves proper handling from Fox instead of being set up to fail as it has from the beginning. As many other fans of AD, I just cannot even comprehend how this show is being cancelled and other ridiculously idiotic shows like The War at Home are still on. I really believe that this show would have flourished on another network.
AD was one of the best shows Fox had on their roster. They have so many shows that they should get rid of....Kitchen Confidential, The WAr at home...I wouldn't lose any sleep if they got rid of the O.C and the reunion....I just want to see this show grow and become one of the classics of our time....

I am sorely disappointed in the FOX Broadcasting Company. Make that disgusted. Are you solely in the business of making money, or are you truly that unique entertainment vehicle that you set out to be years ago when you became the "fourth" broadcasting company?
I am referring, of course, to your untimely decision to cancel one of the most entertaining shows of the decade. How can you base your decision only on the low ratings, when there are so many of us who are loyal, dedicated, and rabid fans of A.D.? There IS a reason that it's an award winning show. There is a reason that those of us who do watch watch again and again--and were in misery during the World Series.
There have been many shows that I have enjoyed in the past and when I found out they were cancelled, I just shrugged my shoulders, content to know that there would be some other formulaic sitcom or drama to fill its place. With Arrested Development, I know that's not going to be the case.
The show is uniquely written to hit that treasured G spot of comedy--tickling the funny bone in a way that nothing else can. The characters are hilarious to watch, yet still unpredictable in the twists of the plot. The world we enter during the 30 minutes of the show is unlike any other world out there.
As Webster's defines it, entertainment is "Something that amuses, pleases, or diverts, especially a performance or show." Are you telling those of us who just aren't entertained by the likes of "Nanny 911," "The Simple Life," and "Trading Spouses" that we aren't to be entertained by your company any more? Certainly I can understand that the people who are drawn to those shows aren't those to become loyal fans of a show like Arrested Development. They may be the ones who are more vocal in the quantity of shows they watch. I speak
save this wonderful show. i am lost for words to think of tv without it. just a thought for fox -- consistently show it at a consistent time on a consistent day. that way, a following can be born! just a thought...
Give us a break! We have barely even had a chance to get in to this season because the AD shows are never on!!! Maybe if Fox would actually keep the lineup in tact, people would come back each week to see it. I can't even get anyone new to watch because the show isn't on consistently enough! Keep Arrested Development on the air!

This is the only good show to come onto FOX since The Simpsons. How can they be so shortsighted? It is the only show my husband and I BOTH look forward to every week. There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best shows on TV. It just needs a legitimate chance. The season has been interrupted by basebll and Prisonbreak reruns. If Fox put half the energy in Arrested Development as it does into Prisonbreak or American Idol, it would surely be a hit. Please save this show!
I just started watching it on Fox this season after watching the DVDs. If it weren't for a Tivo search I would not have known when it aired. This Sucks.
FOX, why don't you try treating this show as though you actually supported it? You know, by maybe airing episodes instead of constantly pre-empting it?
This is without question the best show on television right now, and easily one of the best ever. Please save it. We will recruit viewers when it returns to make it the ratings success it deserves to be.
i think cancelling this show would be a huge mistake, you need to keep this show as it's the funniest thing on TV right now...by far...the only reason people haven't been watching is because they think Fox is putting 2 hours of prison break on...every week? no need for that...Keep Arrested Development, please
Simply put, "Arrested Development" is the best, funniest, most original show in years. I understand that ratings have been disappointing, but the ol' "shuffle it around the schedule and don't air it with any consistency" routine is the death of many shows. I mean, who can keep up with when a new ep is even going to air? This show deserves a long run.
Has Fox lost its marbles? They have definitely lost their talent. Who are these people that make these decisions? They move the show to Monday, then broadcast horribly dull baseball games and somehow expect to get a loyal audience following for the show?
My hat is off to the cast, writers and crew of A/D. You have given me some absolutely wonderful entertainment. I hope the show gets picked up by some network that knows talent when they see it. Oh…I’ll be watching Arrested Development DVDs when Prison Break is on.
Low ratings are not the shows fault. Being tossed around the schedule due to baseball and ENCORE presentations of "Prison Break" is what is bringing low ratings.
i love the show..it's gr-8 and i hope it stays on the air..if not please let showtime pick it up as for hbo thinking it's sloppy seconds..they need to geth themselves in check.
