The record company should be embarassed they ever allowed Ashlee Simpson to record. She shouldn't have gotten past a single audition (definitely not past 5 minutes of recording time). We'll stop signing petitions when record companies like Geffen stop exploiting naive children. Ashlee cannot sing. It is a fact and has been proven by the fact that she is forced to lip synch or be booed off stage. There are literally millions of talented, genuine musicians out there who deserve the chance that ashlee has a 1000 times more than her. But they will struggle to get recognition because mainstream music is choked with stale, talentless 'popstars' who have simply been chosen on the basis of who they know. Don't dare insult us by telling us that ashlee has worked her way to the top. Has she ever played in small bars, barely making enough to get by, whilst slowly building up a reputation as a great singer? NO SHE HAS NOT!! Due to her sisters influence and her dads money she was given a record deal and thrust straight onto MTV. That is wrong! People should be selected on the basis of talent. If you really like her so much start your own petition but when the whoever made this gives this to the record company they will count you signature against her and NOT for her!
