Wow. I take naps during halftime shows, and the Orange Bowl was no exception. I never particularly cared for Ashlee Simpson prior to her second debacle, however, her singing was so horrible that it woke me up early! As a musician, I believe that it is necessary for a musician to have some modicum of talent before attempting to perform. That said, Ashlee Simpson should not perform. Ever. Not even in her own fantasies and dreams. She should simply admit that she has no talent whatsoever when it comes to singing(although she does provide a great deal of entertainment), put down the mic, and step off her sister's coattails.

As a singer, I feel that she tried hard to rectify her mistake, the mistake being lip-syncing, but now, I see that it was better when she did lip-sync. I enjoy her songs, and think she brings a very commercialised feel to the charts, but her talent has very small boundries, and its obvious shes feeding off the success of her father/sister/tv show or all three. I have been a performing multi-instrumentalist for twenty four years and have never once been allowed (or desired) the luxury of merely "faking it" while on stage. All she has done since the SNL debacle, is make up or repeat excuses generated by her father. She has zero talent and I wish some one, any one would step up and just tell that to her face.

When I first bought the CD, I was impressed. When I saw her live, I was extremely disappointed. Anyone can go into a studio and make themselves sound good. I feel as if I have been ripped off. Please, save yourself the shame and step down. Or simply invest in some voice lessons.

I feel so sorry for this young girl. Someone has made her believe that she has talent or potential when in fact she does not.
